Sequels New Mutants Sequel Villain

Which villain do you think we'll get for the sequel? Demon Bear is a ghost story and it's confirmed that the sequel will be a different type of horror.

Selene - Vampires (Magma as new member of the team)

Magus - Aliens (Warlock and Cypher join the team)

N'astihr - Demons (Colossus makes a cameo)

Emplate - Vampires (M and Penance join the team)

Dirtnap - Shapeshifters (Recasted Wolverine cameo)

Sugar Man - Mad Scientists (Emma Frost Clone and Stepford Cuckoos join the team with Emma leading it)

Aliens and demons would be the most interesting to me. Shapeshifters and mad scientists could be covered in other movies and I pray we will stay away from vampires.

Emplate should only be adapted if M is in the film and I prefer her to be in the X-Factor or the X-Men or Generation X not the New Mutants.

Yeah, I'm OK with them fudging things a little - for example, I think they could make a really cool zombie-esque movie with the Phalanx. While that's not New Mutants, they could adapt it with Warlock (maybe replacing Douglock) and many X-Force characters were at least involved so I think it could work. But Emplate is very much tied to M and M is very much not a New Mutant.

I don't really even want the X-Terminators as part of the New Mutants. To me, it should be some combination of: Cannonball, Mirage, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Magik, Warlock, Cypher, Magma, and Karma.

Personally, I can see Selene being introduced as a villain, along with Magma.

I have a much broader definition of New Mutant than you. I consider Generation X, New X-Men and Young X-Men to be successor teams.

And regarding the X-Terminators, I feel like Rusty is boring, Skids was never written consistently, Rictor would need to be a time-traveling member of X-Force since he's in the future. Meltdown is the only one who I feel would really fit the New Mutants lineup right now.

I didn't think of Belasco since I assumed that he was too similar to N'Astirh but doesn't look as cool since he looks human and humans are boring when you have giant green demons. They're just... nastier :P

I think we'll see Belasco explored in the second film. Or at least Magik's origin heavily explored. I think she'll really be the breakout star of the film, hopefully alongside Dani.

if rights of x-men go to disney it is so a moot point.marvel studios isn't doing any sequel to any fox films.

Yea, I'm not convinced. Kevin helped start that X-franchise. It was how he got the job at Marvel. He has spoken highly of it. Its still successful and seems counter-intuitive from any angle to just slam the brakes on all their developments they put forward. Not to mention the intricacies of these mergers. Securing brands can be more important and existing contracts including licenses may need to be honored.

Pixar and Lucasfilm aren't making any X-Men cinematic universe movies either. if disney gets ahold of fox studios x-men will go to marvel studios.and then feige reboots it.

people were under contract for a third amazing spider-man film too.spider-man got rebooted.and let's remember amazing spider-man 2 made 709 million ww in 2012 better than most x films that isn't deadpool or dofp.so feige is very capable of doing that.still crossing my fingers that feige won't get x-men.

if not i guess maybe i can view all the films from x-men-dark phoenix as one 13 part film saga.
