I must've been dreaming, but I could've sworn that I read about a Ninja Turtles trade thats coming out that will collect the first something issues of the orginial series.

Its not on amazon, cant seem to find a topic here (where i thought i first read about it). All info on it seems to be non-existent. Anyone know anything?

From the main Ninja Turtle website. A Mirage trade of the first 11 issues of the original TMNT plus the four Turtle-themed one-shot issues is due July 14th and retails for about 30 bucks (for 15 issues of long out of print material).

All of that material is available to read free on the Ninja Turtle website, although owning it of course is another matter.

Thank you so much for that link. It's good to know its actually coming out.

When i checked on the ninja turtle site originally, I looked under 'Collected Books' and didn't see it under there, so immedinately stopped my search.

I actually already read all the issues collected in the trade including owning 4 of them, but reading them together in a book is going to be exciting :)

Indeed.

For the record, many of those issues would be considered "double sized" now, with some 38 pages of story material. The whole trade is 544 pages, which for $30 isn't too shabby. I always wondered why Mirage wasn't better at the trade market, since many of the canonical Turtles material has long been out of print, so this is a good sign.

Admittedly, some of the navigation on their website isn't straight forward. I just go there about once a fortnight or month so I know it pretty well.

Theres also a trade currently out collecting the first mini that Archie comics put out.

just read the first issue last night and will be picking this up first chance i get:up:
