you say this as though Takara, Hasbro, and SunBow Productions were in it for some glorious elevation of the human consciousness.I'm trying to figure out why some people defend these soulless, money-grubbing s--t peddlers.![]()
lolz! So you simply say "I'm not very fond of Jar Jar" without attacking Lucus. Wow how civilized of you.Not defending at all. I am very critical about movies like you may be. But I don't sit in my room throwing my own feces around, writing the name of the directors of Captain America: The Movie, stabbing a George Lucas hex doll for wrecking the prequels, drawing horrible pictures of Halle Berry Catgarbage being beaten by thugs.
Everbody loves Daredevil? Only a handful of geeks embraced the Directors Cut most people still think the movie is still pretty lame.I acknowledge the fact that movies are sometimes made wrong or should not have been made at all. I DO place the blame on the director and the writers for being so dumb or blind sometimes. I do step back and read over the whole of it, and realize that a lot of people let the bad parts totally ruin EVERYTHING for them about this movie. Daredevil is a great example. The movie apparently blew until the director's cut comes out. All of a sudden people that hated it state they love it now. PLEASE, enough.
Personally I think the FF costumes prove that superheroes don't need leather biker outfits to work onscreen. But I also understand that certain things won't show up well on the movie screen, or things need to be changed. I also understand that sometimes when movies are made about cartoons or written text that there is something lost between the transition. XMen costumes were great.
If you really think I honestly want anyone to die you need to stop taking internet chat so seriously. I mean c'mon dude.Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles movie: Hit the nail on the head for ME
Starwars Prequels: almost a complete waste of time for, let down by my OWN hyping
Superman Returns: Liked it a lot, but understand that the movie shouldn't have been that long and could have been better with more action, less drama.
These are my opinions. Those are your opinions. I was simply calling you out about stating that someone should DIE for making a movie about something that you obviously have a huge attachment to. That is ridiculous.
Not really. Once a movie concept is wasted Hollywood rarely revisits the material. That's why it's critical to only adapt source material if you understand the appeal entirely and do it properly the first time. And complaining about Silver Surfer being too shiny is nitpicking. Complaining about the total revamp of TF characterizations and themes is legitimate criticism from anyone who is a life long fan of Transformers.Movies can and will usually, sometimes hopefully be remade. There will always be something to love and something to nitpick about movies.
Yes Ghostbuster, Gremlins, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and countless other classics were made for money. Doesn't mean they weren't rewarding experiences on a multitude of levels.you say this as though Takara, Hasbro, and SunBow Productions were in it for some glorious elevation of the human consciousness.
They wanted to make money.
BF's statements are shallow, naive, coldhearted, and uneducated. On most boards that I post on people can be banned for such remarks.
BF, thank you for 100% confirming to everyone who will ever read this what I thought about you all along.
Thats just horrible.
I'm still pissy about X-Men: The Last Stand, Captain America, and Final Fantasy. But I got past it. With lots of alcohol and women. and Charleston Chews.
