Overlord taking the top-down action RPG approach?

Codemasters will reveal a new overlord game tomorrow at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. UK, the publisher teased.
A “Previously on Overlord” trailer released today sums up the events of previous games, and teases the new entry, which features four Overlords in what looks to be a top-down action RPG.

A digital-only four-player isometric action RPG.

The next entry in he Overlord series is a downloadable four-player isometric action RPG called Overlord: Fellowship of Evil for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Codemasters announced.
Due out in 2015 for £14.99 / $19.99 / €19.99, the game puts players in the role of one of four Netherghuls. Together with up to three friends, locally or online, players can bring back evil to the world in a group. You’ll be assisted by your horde of minions, led by their master Gnarl, voiced once again by Marc Silk.

Introducing the faithful companions of the upcoming action RPG.

Codemasters has released a new trailer and set of screenshots introducing the minions of Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, its 2015-due, digital-only action RPG for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The trailer, issued by “The Minionstry of Information” and entitled “So You Think You’re Evil?,” explains to players the value of their minion horde. From causing carnage to grabbing loot and bothering sheep, minions act as faithful companions to their masters.

[FONT=&quot]PikminParadox Interactive (Cities: Skylines) announced today that they've acquired Triumph Studios. For those unaware, Triumph is the developer behind Age of Wonders and Overlord.


[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]It was announced in a press release that Paradox bought Triumph, along with their current development team. Further, they've also announced that "all ongoing projects will remain in development."

"They are world-leading within their niche and have built a large and dedicated community over the years, counting quite a few Paradox employees among their hardcore fans. We have great faith in Lennart, Arno, and the Triumph team, and our main focus now is to ensure that they can continue to create their magic under new ownership."[/FONT]

He says that with Paradox, it's "not merely a business transaction." [FONT=&quot]Overlord and Overlord 2, while received positively, were underrated games that deserve to remain in the spotlight. They were essentially evil Pikmin games. Players controlled an evil Overlord that had control over variously colored minions with different abilities. The ultimate goal was to squash the dim-witted good guys of the world and rule with an iron fist. The original Overlord had moments of parody for typical D&D campaigns. There was a group of retired adventurers that killed the previous overlord and they fit the cliche D&D party roster.[/FONT]

Become an Adamantite-class adventurer.

On the official website for the Overlord III television anime, users can download a free, original Overlord RPG made with RPG Maker MV.
Currently, the RPG only contains two chapters, but will be updated regularly until the final chapter.


The game puts players in control of Momon and Nabe, who are aiming to become Adamantite-class adventurers. In addition to the main story, there are also game-original side quests.
