New Planet Hulk Trailer

Hey Obi-Ron.
If/when HulkSpace opens back up, I'll be sure and let you know!

Yep. A place for smashing. :bh:

A decent forum for Hulk fans that was originally Hulkmovie.com. Lack of moderation led it to being overrun with porn spammers and some general jerkiness, but overall a solid group of serious (and not so serious) fans. Now, closed for the foreseeable future. :csad:

Too bad I didn't know about it sooner. :(

Good forums are easy and hard to find all at the same time!

marvel/lionsgate aree dropping the ball on these animated films. PLanet hulk was dire. It may have been a good comic book run, but just did not translate to film. DC are winning every one of these rounds.

Maybe its because the have some like Bruce Timm behind the scenes.

Marvel have some great characters and stories, they needs to do a better job.

These animated films are a great way of introducing characters, expanding on current ones that a more widely known, but they are not doing a good job. The next film is a teenie Thor, which i don't understand them doing.

Do they only think kids are the only ones buy these films, and if so do they only think they will buy if the characters are in their teens, ala Iron man armoured adventures?

Man I don't know what movie u watched.?
Planet Hulk is a classic, even with out finishing the story. This film can go toe to toe with any one of DC titles and I have ALL of them, except the Wonder Women disk.

Why not the Wonder Woman one? Not a WW fan? Or just not a fan of that disc?

Well I finally saw it. The one thing I did not like was the whole Beta Ray Bill battle. I completely understand why they did it as I did watch the making of. However, if you put this movie next to the Hulk vs., it makes Thor almost look like a chump as BRB had a much better showing as it did copy the way the battle went in the comic book. However, for me, BRB is not on the same level as the Silver Surfer whereas this animated feature put him there.

In any case, I hope they do WWH next.

Well, the Marvel/Lionsgate guys don't have that good of a handle on Thor anyway. Look what they did to him in Next Avengers.

Finally got this on Blu-Ray and really liked it. I pretty much knew nothing about the comic so I went into this one w/ little knowledge. Beta Ray Bill was a surprise. Haven't seen him in animation before. The only thing I wished that they expounded on was how Hulk became semi-intelligent and why he didnt' revert back to Bruce Banner. Seemed silly to go through the process of exiling the Hulk if he is intelligent. Even through the opening sequence Iron-man is talking to Bruce and not Hulk ???

This an awesome movie. Now I'm a haveta get the comics and read 'em.

Planet Hulk is basically Gladiator meets Conan the Barbarian. I thought overall it was entertaining but the happy ending ruined it for me. I was hoping it would end with Hulk raising his sword in the air and pointing it to Earth's direction with his Warbound crew.

Fan made WW Hulk trailer... pretty well done:

Yeah, I watched it again last night, and the only thing I didn't like was how they pulled a "Golden Compass" and rolled credits before the REAL end of the story. :cmad:

Thankfully, I never saw Golden Compass, but yes that was very annoying.

Marvel needs to put some more of these out, it's going to be a year since this was released and no new announcement has been made about any other one.

Finally watched this on Sky and while I enjoyed it it was no were near as good as the comics run, they left out a lot of the mythology and BRB replacing Silver Surfer when BRB isnt near as powerful was a little dissapointing, especially when he really laid the smackdown on the Hulk for most of the fight.
