New Planet Hulk Trailer

Just watched it, really good, Hulk seems to be the king of the animated marvel films. Only very very minor complaint is the hulks eyes, I've always hated it when they've given him red eyes, I think he looks better with bright green ones.

Don't care for the Red Eye thing either. picking Planet Hulk up tonight after work. I'm pretty eager to see it.

This might be a cool live action concept after the Avengers movies and if ever get the cgi work right on the Hulk

I agree and was thinking the same thing as I watched it, glowing bright green is the way to go!!!:awesome::up:

:bh:Planet Hulk is to MARVEL animated DTV's what Wonder Woman :ww: is to the DCU animated Original Movies. :awesome::up:

Not bad. I still think Doctor Strange is the best Marvel Animated Film, but this comes in third.

Also, Miek was awesome.

One of the best Marvel animated films, and probably the most violent too.

Saw it tonight. Pretty good; plot was a bit simple for my tastes. Was glad and surprised it was so violent. Not because I enjoy that stuff so much as it bodes well for future Marvel animation being more mature. Was nice to see Thor's first animated appearance since the Fantastic Four show of the 90s (I think) But it's the first time I liked Beta Ray Bill, so that's a plus. Still hate his name though.

Thor was in Hulk vs. He did about as`well as Beta Ray Bill did in PH.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. He was also in the Avengers DVDs. It was nice to see some cameos of other Marvel characters like Iron Man, with Dr. Strange and I'm assuming Prof X, and Reed Richards in the background. I suppose the last two were ambiguous because of studio rights.

Xavier wasn't in the back ground. It was just Iron Man, Dr. Strange, and clearly covered up versions of Reed Richards and Black Bolt due to legal issues (same reason why Beta Ray Bill was used instead of the Silver Surfer).

I have yet to see this, but it looks great compared to Ultimate Avengers and Invincible Iron Man.....

What would you guys recommend, should I get it on Blu-Ray or DVD?

Okay I had a couple issues with this movie. I picked it up because it was getting positive reviews and I'm not sure how. Here are my gripes:
1. No Brood and the Robot died. Now if I remember the comic those two characters where both in PH and WWH. So if they do a sequel what happens to the parts they play?
2. Malek didn't transformer physically into the larger form. Not a big problem but it bugs me.
3. It ends with him freaking running the show. The comic had one of the best endings ever and they ruined it.

They really aren't as needed as Miek, Korg, Elloe, and Hiroim

I find no need to deal with Miek's metamorphosis since the film cut out the stuff regarding his people.

Planet Hulk was a 15 issue story and covered the Exile, Anarchy chapters of the story (the Incredible Hulk v2 #92-99) and parts of Allegiance as well. Considering World War Hulk was only 5 issues you can use the remaining parts of Planet Hulk to show him as Sakaar's ruler, develop his love with Caiera, the destruction of his kingdom, and then attack the Illuminati.

Hopefully Disney will obtain the animated/television rights to the Fantastic Four so that way we can see the Hulk go after Reed Richards and "Black Bolt." Hell, Sony gave up the animated/television rights to Spider-Man when they were actively using them, you would think that 20th Television would do the same considering that Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes isn't even being made anymore.

If they can have a "Hulk vs Wolverine" movie, there's no reason Mr. Fantastic and the Surfer couldn't have been used. Still, it was nice to see B R Bill get some action.

There were also some pretty good crowd cameos. I caught Adam Warlock, Pip the Troll and Gamora, and Starlord. I'm sure there are probably plenty I missed.

Grandmaster also made a cameo in the film. :woot:

I'm disappointed in Starlord and Warlock becoming spectators for the Red King's horrible games.

I didn't read the comic, but I read about them. I thought it was alright. I would like to see a WWH though to see more familiar characters. I would really love to see a Secret Invasion, although it would need to be longer than this. It seemed like PH was just not long enough to delve deeper into the story. There was more that they didn't go into. Everything happened a little too fast for my liking.

I'm just gonna pretend they were checking the place out and planning to take RK down. :awesome:

This was a really good movie, I loved the cameos and wow was it violent.

Def worth picking up if you havent seen it yet

Just watched Planet Hulk...so fun! It's got some great action, and the story is pretty interesting, too. If anybody reading this is on the fence, I'd definitely recommend it.

Thor cameo = AWESOME. Was that in the comic also?
