New Regency Goes Medieval

Alex Litvak and Michael Finch have sold their original screenplay "Medieval" to New Regency Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The script's story line plays like The Dirty Dozen in the age of castles, plagues and serfs, which the studio hopes to spin as a hyper-realistic action movie in the vein of 300.

New Regency recently produced Bride Wars and Role Models.

I really like the concept. Curious to know if they choose a well known director or choose a new talent.
