New Trailer - crash scene

I watched the new trailer again and I been thinking:

That car crash scene is bit over the top, I will be shocked if Bond survived that because the car takes twice turns before it lends on the road and the producers talk about making James Bond more human so no human wouldn't have survived that crash. Don’t you think?

Yeah I know it's BOND he survives crap

Not to be critical, but you used what we call a double negative. So, when you say "no human wouldn't have survived that crash"... it translates to "humans would have survived the crash" :)

Anyway, coming to your point, I think the scene looked extremely cool, and every James Bond movie has to have it's share of farfetched ideas, and scenes. In that regard, I think that the crash scene is a good addition to Casino Royale.

Well said  I don't think a totally realistic James Bond movie would come along as being all that popular. Admittedly I like it when it's grounded in reality but as previously mentioned I want that hyper-realism.

You're watching a Bond flick and you're using reality as a guide?

Haha, good luck.

I was just angry because that's a terrible way to treat an Ashton Martin.:o

probably stretching but I was listening to the Casino Royale theme hints at the scene

"Life is gone
At just a spin of the wheel (spin of the wheel)"

I knew craig couldn't drive a stick ;) jk

I think it actually means a spin of the wheel in gambling terms, can't remember what the name of the game is called, but it's the red and black coloured wheel with the numbers on it. I must sound like such a n00b. But yeah, that's my theory being the theme song lends it's lyrics to death and deception via gambling/casino terms and references.

Here's some in teresting trivia about the car crash. There WAS a stunt driver in the the car during the crash! So I guess it is survivable. The only unrealistic thing is that the Aston is built so damn fine that it wouldn'd crash like they wanted to. It would always correrct itself and land back on all four wheels because of it's almost prefect balance and they had to add an air cannon to actually cause the car to flip out of control and in the process have set a new world record of 7 and half turns!

hmm sounds like a job for the Myth Busters!

The one thing i hope they do fix, is that Eva Green is not in the road as the car flips. Obviously they filmed it without her, but they should add her in post.

you can clearly see she is in the road.

When the car is physically flipping, as in the last shot of the trailer, she is not in the road.

There is a body lying in the road at the top of your right hand picture...trust me!

It's one of those things, ummm... How do you call it oh yes "dummies" or something..
