I would agree that the majority of folks here have crappy taste in music. I, on the other hand, do not. I can manipulate music to make almost anyone wanna dance

I don't even think of it as confidence. I just know it to be a fact. I've been DJing for 12 years. I have curated 300 GB of tunes in a way that I can navigate through them to find something for 99.9% of people. Rocking a party is easy but what I like to do is find the guy or gal that is there and not feeling it, then I will do whatever I can to make them nod their head. That is more satisfying than any room full of people dancing

When you have been doing something like that as long as I have it's just second nature. I am actually at a disadvantage to some of the younger kids because of the way that I think about it from they way I learned can limit me with new technology if I'm not careful. I know very little when it comes to all the things that are now at my disposal
