Ninja Gaiden producer Tom Itagaki quits his job at Tecmo

Are you that emotionally attached to goddamned video games? Who cares if he does the dastardly deed of "bad mouthing the competition". As long as you enjoy the game that is being "bad mouthed", it should have no ****ing effect on the enjoyment you get. The same goes for game reviews.

erm.....who's getting emotional? this need for you to make things seem more important than they really are, where does it come from?

first off, i never really enjoyed any of his games, but like i said...i don't hold that against him. second, i know how to distinguish the product from the producer. there are a couple of Paul W. Anderson's movies that i like, despite my disdain for the guy. third...

It's petty dumb **** like this entire thread that makes me loathe the gaming community. Not just the one here in this forum, but the worldwide community.

"Some developer that makes games I don't like compared himself to my idol, on top of making exclusives for the system that I don't like"

****ing goddamn babies

The first 3 Dead or Alive games were decent. Dead or Alive Ultimate got lots of praise for including an online mode, but in terms of gameplay it was not really anything new, and in some ways was actually a step backwards for the series. Dead or Alive 4 recieved a very mixed reaction from series and genre fans, but in general people thought it was basically like Dead or Alive 3, but in HD and with some very stupid fanservice vehicle cutscenes. In all, it didn't really add very much new material to the mix other than new characters. Dead or Alive Volleyball 2 was just straight up crap, even moreso than the first one.

Ninja Gaiden was awesome (I own Sigma for PS3), but from what I hear, NG2 doesn't really do much differently from the first one, and ontop of that the camera is 10x worse due to the more demanding combat conditions. Also, the first Ninja Gaiden had a fairly stupid plot, and NG2's is apparently even worse. NG2 is still apparently a good game overall, but the reviews all seem to be saying one thing in common: it's not an improvement over the first one.

BTW, doesn't Itagaki look like he'd be the second-to-last guy who gets his arse kicked in a Jackie Chan movie?

:whatever: yes......that's exactly what i said with my last few posts.

if you're getting so frustrated that you have to throw little hissy fits, you have no one to blame but yourself for making such naive and ignorant assumptions.

****ing goddamn babies
you're the only one here throwing temper tantrums.........like a baby would. maybe you should calm down and sip on some milk.

lol, i always thought Itagaki looked like one of the guys that Neo fought in the Matrix Reloaded during the fight scene on the stairs. he was wearing all white, but he had sunglasses and long hair like Itagaki's.

It's basically being sick of the same old **** from the last gen's idiotic "console war" that has carried over to this gen. There's only 2 things the video game industry cares about: how much money we have in our wallets, and how to get it from us. Any person that thinks otherwise is foolish
