Its not the best game ever, sure, but its not a 3 out of 10. The numbered rating system is one of the silliest things ever. Just read the review and ignore the number. Also, IGN had it in its top PS2 games the year it came out. That makes no sense at all.

Wow, pretty shocking review. My friend is a hardcore Ninja Gaiden fan, going to be interesting to see what he thinks of the game when he gets his hands on it.

I'm in the same boat, I look at reviews to get a general idea of what the game has going for it versus what it fails to accomplish, but I don't let the reviews determine solely whether or not I'll purchase the game. I do own a few games in my collection that weren't received well by critics.

Yeah, they totally screwed up with NG3. Dunno about you guys, but IMO, it would have been better for them to just leave those NG games alone and start fresh, maybe even go so far as to redo the one's for the NES with updated graphics and maybe a visual style similar to the current version of NG. Itagaki made this more recent NG that gamers have come to like, what started with him, ends with him, at least in this case.

A quick Twitter search reveals that many fans that bought the game at midnight (or this morning) are being met with error messages when they try to enter their online pass codes.

It doesnt say what system but if its the PS3, it could be bc the store doesnt update till the evening. Unless Tecmo had given it to Sony to put up ahead of time (which they should have), those gamers should most likely just wait a few hours when the weekly updates go live

Some pathetic, yet interesting things to take away from the GT review: the wrong button can be hit on a QTE and you'll still succeed, there's only one weapon and one magic attack in the game, and the reviewer looked away from the screen during a fight and still won. I did not expect a 7.7 after hearing that review. From everything he said, I'd rather pay $65 on NGS 2 than this DMC2-looking title. Also saw a video for DLC weapons, which made me want to vomit.

I don't understand how the game can be seemingly that flawed in gameplay and still receive a 7.7 either? Multiplayer bumps up the score?? I guess.

It's a shame really, cause NG3 was one of the more anticipated games of 2012. NG2 still holds up nicely and after a short play through yesterday, I'm reminded of how awesome NG can be.

yeah let's just say you can tell from scott c Jones's reaction to this game. this was not the Ninja Gaiden any one asked for. He was very disappointed. you'll have to see it for your self.

vic gave it a 06 and scott gave a 01.

Street Fighter X Tekken was a disappointment, Ninja Gaiden 3 was a disappointment...damn I have nothing to look forward to in the realm of games.

umm I'd stick with the hand held one sigma plus. that one seems to be a little better. other then that, keep away from this one. it's obvious once the real creative minds leave a franchise the games doomed cause of the marketing department and publishers want money and their at the helm. but this DLC isn't gonna cost you what you think.
