Recent financial figures released by Kyoto's most successful hanafuda manufacturer explain just how sickeningly rich the company is. NCL's total net assets as of September 30th, 2006 stand at US$10.86 billion. Do you know how many Rares you could buy for that? Too many!

Nintendo's net sales (nothing to do with this here internet) for this fiscal year, which ends on March 31st, 2007, are forecast to be US$6.378 billion, while net profits (after the taxmen have taken their pieces of the sumptuous pie) for this financial year are expected to total US$862 million. That's quite a lot of money.

According to a statement released by Nintendo of Japan's accountants, which we've partially emboldened for scary effect:

"In order to expand gaming population in the console business as well, Nintendo will aim to popularize "Wii" (the latest video gaming console to be launched at the end of the calendar year) as an "everyday-use gaming device for all the family" allowing the new emergence of gaming console inseparable from daily lives, under the concept of "brand new days with Wii". As for handheld gaming market, Nintendo will continue to strive to gain more popularity with an expansion in software lineup by launching new types of games that expand user base such as "Touch! Generations" as well as easy accesible games to challenging games in due proportion."

Key phrase there, if we've read it correctly, is "inseparable from daily lives." The message is clear and just a bit frightening, dear readers: Nintendo wants your life!

Remember kids according to WHF Nintendo will be going out of buisiness this generation.

Yeah, all thanks to the Gameboy because the Wii is a FLOP LOLOL Gamespot FTW!!!!!!!

Nintendp should buy back Rare. Not only would their games be better, but it would piss off WHF.

Rare has finally made a good game, and that hasn't legitimately happened since the N64 generation, Viva is good. It's just a shame they ruined Perfect Dark and release steaming piles or crap to get there.

Viva Pinata is just the Sims with pinatas. It belongs on the PC.

Do you have Pinata Z? What 360 games do you have?

Pinata, Dead Rising, GoW, and Superman Returns make me want a 360.

Everyone I talk to says its pretty good, at least a 7. That's pretty awesome for a Superman game.

I own Halo, Halo 2, Shenmue, KoToR, and Dead Rising.

Wow I didn't know that those were all 360 games OH WAIT THEY ARENT

Get Gears of War Zeeny, my roommate bought it, none of us have actually played the campaign, just lots and lots of online:o

lol dudette, those are almost all Xbox games. I thought you had Oblivion. Sold it?

DS + NINTENDOGS + ANIMAL CROSSING = NINTENDO FTW.

The Wii will only add to those numbers too.

I wonder if they intend to do any Nintendogs like stuff for the Wii? Hmm.

I think I read on IGN once, an interview with Shiggy, and in it, he said they were considering a Wii Nintendogs. I'm sure we'll see some defining brand for the Wii, a la Touch Gen. I know they've already announced and shown Big Brain Academy Wii.

But old people, girls and extreme otaku types love them. So they'll make a mint.

For the Wii-version maybe you could use the wii-mote as a stick; you throw it away for the dog to catch... or maybe not... :) ;)

My stupid connection wont let me use wifi......

The BB Adapter releases on the 5th I believe....that should solve your issue.

He doesn't have to wait. The DS adapter works w/ Wii.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but there isnt a part of Nintendo's sales that really hinge on the "XwolverineX from SHH" market. It usually depends on what everyone ELSE is going to buy, and there are far more people reached by those games than make up the demographic of "you".

Also, you're just irritated you can't properly grow apples.

This is true, but if his connection doesn't let him get WiFi the DS adapter probably won't work either.
