Hell yeah, all the action happened in the first 20 mins, then he just flies around for the next 2 hours, what the hell? Why wasn't he punching bad guys into the sun or throwing 18 wheel trucks around?

Just based on what you said there I would honestly rather you were put in charge of the future of the Superman franchise than those who currently have control.

Whipping 18-wheelers at enemies? That's ****ing badass man. The kind of thing only Superman can do.

...no way man, I love that movie too...yeah maybe the "showdown" fight never happened but still the movie was great...also brandon plays a great superman/kent...hope to see the next one soon...

They can be bad sometimes, but they have been right lots of times as well. And if DH is reporting this as well, I trust it even more so.

You trust a guy who absolutely hates Batman to produce acurate Batman news?!

The problem was that Superman was fighting humans without powers, that was the issue. Now if they had some extreme advanced weaponry it would've been nice to see him take care of it using his muscle. The gatling gun was the only nice setpiece that was a homage to the golden age, but he could have at least bent it or broke it into pieces or something.

It's funny how they had about 20 billion dollars more to work worth than the first two films combined yet had about half the action of both.

This movie, despite being the same length as Begins will no doubt feel longer... Bruce is batman from the get-go. In Begins an hour went by before we saw any ears; dont get me wrong, I LOVE begins! It had perfect story-telling, editing, music! Everything was top-notch, it really was. But this time around it's different! This movie, despite being darker (as we're told) will still be more fast-paced I'm sure. Big BIG things will happen this time around!!!! I can't ****ing wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's without a doubt my number 1 movie to see this year; HANDS DOWN!!! THE KNIGHT WILL ROCK!!!

Bob, I'm a fan of it too. I bought and have watched it several times.

I'm no where close to a big Superman fan, but I really enjoyed that movie. Spacey was great and I thought that Routh was good too. Now that being said I really don't have an intimate knowledge of Superman, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it.
