On my television, in America, the movie "Batman Begins" was 127 minutes.

Well Batman is the hero of the movie, this aint like Tim Burton's movie where they focus on Joker mostly. (Ofcourse i could be completely wrong but i remember Nolan or Bale saying something about Batman being the main hero (well d'oh) but in a way that he has tons of scenes and the movie does focus on him, but ofcourse we got harvey dent story and then Joker destroying gotham too).

The above indicates a 120 minute DK movie...I wonder if this is confirmed or if Arclight Cinemas is just estimating? I was actually looking forward to the near 3 hour epic being reported in rumors...that would have been ballsy.

Then again, less is usually more.

One more thing. I don't mean to get off-topic, but are people hyped for TDK in Italy?

Sorry for my late answer, but, meh... there's not too much hype about it.

It's being released July 23, which is very uncommon here in Italy, since people prefer to go to the beach instead of going to the movies in July. As much as I'm happy that it's getting released only one week after the US release, August 29 would've been a better release date for Italy. But, I couldn't be happier.

There is some hype, but not very much. Warner Bros. could also do a slightly better job to promote the flick. Except for the two theatrical trailers and the posters, they haven't done too much yet as far as marketing. I hope that TV spots pop up soon.

I guess it'll do decent here, like 6 - 7 million dollars, even though the release is tricky. They should've at least released it July 18, to have one more weekend before August.

For those who guessed 150 minutes, you were right. According to this website for an IMAX theater in Raleigh, NC, 'The Dark Knight' clocks in at 152 minutes.

I think that even with slight variations of 1/2 min depending on the sources, we'll end up with a 2h and a half movie approximately!!!
