Why a reboot? We got the great Superman theme, we got a great Jor-El, a great origin story already. The last thing I want is a new Superman.

Maybe something that could be straight-to-video with CG animation on par with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?

I wouldn't mind seeing two movies like that.

1) The actual origin to this particular Superman lore

2) A sort of adaptation of the childrens book "Strange Visitor" but with more substance

Oh, but there's already a way to know that. You....uh,...watch the original two movies and uh, pick some scenes and pray that Singer the god acknowledged them.
