Storm doesn't look like halle at all. looks more like an Asian man in Storm-Drag

 

I don't like Jean's bust, it looks like a witch on crack, and nothing like Famke. And the Storm one isn't much better.

 

They look like men in drag tbh! No need for a thread on this by the way. We have these in the official merchandise thread.

 

I was planning on buying the Storm one before now Jean doesn't look so bad.

 

i hate the busts, they all look horrible. juggernaught may be the only one bordering on "alright"

 

Ugh... who sculpts these things? Surely no one that has seen EITHER of these actresses. Even the pose on Famke is horrible.

 

Wow they both look bad and neither look like Famke or Halle.

 

Have to agree, all of the busts made by that company are awful, especially beast with his white face.

 

Absolutely fugly. Especially Phoenix...she looks like Medusa. And that looks nothing like Berry.

it's such a shame that the likenesses on these busts are so off especially since most of the action figures that have been made from the x-men films have been pretty much off as well. i thought for sure these would have great likenesses but i am embarassed. the only last stand figure i'll be buying is the 12 inch wolverine by medicom. it's got one of the closest likenesses of all the characters.

 

Actually, in a way you could have. I realize you wanted to slide a jab in there at the actress--and that's fine. But in this case it doesn't fit. Why? Because it's not "Halle Berry's attempt at Storm", since Halle Berry didn't mold the bust. I think that's what TNC was getting at.

It's Diamond Select's attempt at Storm that truly sucks here.

 

Thanks for posting this, i was really looking forward to seeing Jean and Storm, hoping the holdback of the photos was an indiction that Diamond was making them flawless. However after seeing them, I'm very disaponted. i had such high expectations for the Jean one. Gerr argg.
The Storm one is just plain funny.... i think the sculptor was trying to sculpt Ken Leung and Arclight at different times then just did Storm's uniform.

 

WTF happened to Storm's hair? The outcome of her fight with Callisto?

 

I'm disappointed with Phoenix's.

Her facial expression is just, meh...
