Now, you can't say Brother Voodoo ain't one of the best that Marvel has to offer. He has a persona like no other, and his magic is unmatched. He is just cool. There isn't any other way to say it.

My boy, Voodoo, has got a high rank on my list of faves. Possibly the slot number 2. I wish Marvel would give him his own series already, but no, they taking their sweet time. Man, Brother Voodoo deserves his own series. Atleast I'd buy it.

Meh. I liked him in Priest's Black Panther run, but even there he was still pretty bland. I don't think he could carry his own series. Even a mini-series would have to offer a few other character before I'd buy it.

Also his magic is not unmatched.

Yeah, Doc Strange and a few others would pwn him without too much effort. Just another example of the white man keeping the black brother down.

Um, he's not cool at all. Oh look, another way to say it.:o

You would be the only one.

He was being considerd for a tv series a few years back.

I could see that working. HAve him fighting the "monster of the week" or whatever. (and said monster could be other Marvel supernatural beings)...

Well, he is cooler then Black Talon.

Brother Voodoo is cool, but you are overstating his power, he can double his strength, raise the dead, control animals, but he isn't near a mystic powerhouse as Dr. Strange is... If you like him, I'm pretty sure he had solo stories in Marvel Comic Presents I'm sure you'd enjoy.

I'll try to find the issue numbers for you.

Used to like BV back when Zombie, had his own Mag. I always wondered why there wasn't some kind of Story with BV, the Living Mummy, and Zombie. The 3 just seemed to mesh back then.

Damn, I thought Nighthawk's cape, if nothing else, at least convinced every other artist out there that making a cape/wing hybrid is really, really not the way to go... :(

There nothing that scare criminals more than a guy dressed up as a chicken.

"Criminals are a cowardly superstitious lot, that's it, I'll shall become a chicken"

Scene I: 2003. A smoke filled conference Room at NBC. A few Executives getting high.

Exec#1: We should totally make a Brother Voodoo series.

Exec#2: Awesome.

Exec#3: Voodoo...Voodoo... Voodoo.Didja ever notice how a word sounds funny if you keep repeating it.

Exec #2: Witchy Woman should totally be the theme song.

Exec #1: Dude, we should get Bendis to write it.

Exec#3 Voodoo...Vodoo...

Exec#2: Wait, wait, wait, I got a better idea: a trailer trash dude wins the lottery but gets hit by a car.

Exec #1: Awesome

....I like Earl...:csad:

First off, by "unmatched" I meant that his is unique (man, lighten up).

And second, it's just an appreciation thread. I mean, man! Some people like different characters. Doesn't mean you have to like him, and doesn't mean you had to come to this thread. That was your choice.

I mean I don't go around downing Captain America every chance I get, and that's because it really doesn't matter to me that so many people are on his.... I mean, like him. I don't and that's my opinion, but that doesn't mean I'd attack a guy's thread over it. I guess some people just such low self esteem. Oh well.

I still like Brother Voodoo better than almost any other character, with only Luke Cage beating in my roster. It's a struggle between him and Blade for me though.

But, Luke Cage, hands down, is the greatest (to me, I guess I'd better add that).
