This entire saga has been completely fascinating to me. The dissolution of one the biggest studios of all time in real time. Zaslav seems completely out of his depth, a guy who wants to be a savior but is already a destroyer to many. I can agree with some moves to alleviate debt, like the release reshuffle, but the way I see it, an unloading of assets is coming. They already sold a majority of CW, but I can see other things on the chopping block, like their entire games division.(I expect someone big, maybe even Sony, buying Netherrealm) Wouldn’t be surprised to see TNT/TBS on the chopping block too. There is just no way they can continue to operate at that debt.

I was always confident in that being safe. HBO Proper + Big IP - It would have had to totally fail to get canceled, and it ended up with their best premiere ever.

I AM really worried about the Sea Snake spinoff. Given Zaslav's modus operandi thus far, it and Nymeria are definitely in danger, both being POC-led shows (And in Nymeria's case, a majority-POC cast) But I have hope since Corlys is already proving so popular in HOD that they'll at least be able to make that one happen.

Last thing that was left out of Zaslav's worst executive ever list: censorship. Can't wait to see more!

Now I'm worried for HBO. I'd like to THINK he wouldn't meddle there - being uncensored has always been a huge part of their brand - but you never know with idiots like this. Now I'm gonna have nightmares of a future HBO where no one is allowed to smoke, hook up or say ****.
