Something weird I noticed. I tried watching Scream under my profile which has no parental controls. There are a couple other profiles for my kids that do limit what ratings they can watch. But it wouldn’t let me watch the movie even though it was under my profile. It wasn’t until I changed the settings on my kids profiles that it let me watch the movie.

I guess it’s to prevent your kids from using your profile to watch rated R stuff but seems counter intuitive to having different profiles.

That sounds like a glitch to me. I doubt it's supposed to be like that.

Maybe...but I feel like most people don't buy Blu Rays and it's not like once it's on Blu Ray that it won't be on streaming also.

I really don't know. But then again I haven't understood most WB strategies

Yeah Disney isn't pulling Soul off of plus so I don't know...

It's all part of the WB deal where after the first month they pull it off HBO Max so the only way to watch it is in theaters until it's released on 4K/Blu-Ray/DVD in a few months. By withholding it on streaming for a few months, their only goal is to generate as much sales revenue from its remaining theatrical run and from physical/digital media once it's out on those formats. After that, I'm sure it'll be back on HBO Max by the fall anyway.

Surely. Birds of Prey was on HBO Max just three months after its Blu-ray release so I assume that's their pattern.
