Finally!! Took them long enough! If they want to make HBO Max a success, they need the Harry Potter brand along with DC and HBO (Game of Thrones properties) firing on all cylinders! I’d like:

A Hogwarts founders show
A James/Sirius/Lupin/Peter/Lilly/Snape show
A Voldemort show
An Illvermorny show

so much potential!

I won‘t pay for any HBO Max release extra - even Dune, which was one of my most anticipated movie of 2020. Still no plans for a WW84 release and the other movies. This company hasn’t put any effort in getting it’s license agreement straight. No company says „**** you“ into the faces of their fans more.

Bruh if they found a way to bring back most of the original cast or atleast the main three that would ****ing huge for HBO Max. I never got into Fantastic Beasts, but Harry Potter still seems to have alot of goodwill and is one of Warner Bros most iconic, well known brands, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to go back to it IMO.

The possibilitiesare endless.

Hogwarts, A History: An anthology style show featuring the various important moments in the school's history.
Leaky Cauldron/Diagon Alley series: a sitcom ala Cheers, all the different characters and their eacky hijinx.
The Rise of Voldemort: this is obvious and needs to be #1 on their list.
Ministry of Magic - The Aurors: police procedural tracking down Dark Wizards.

I can do this all day. There's literally a dozen shows that could be done with this material, not to mention just having an updated Hogwarts show set after Deathly Hallows. So many possibilities.

They'd be leaving money on the table if they don't do a Cursed Child film in about ten years' time, maybe a little less. I'm fairly certain that will happen, though not as an HBO Max exclusive.

Yeah, if they bring back the original cast it'll definitely be a theatrical film. Huge nostalgia 5-10 years from now ala The Force Awakens.
Exactly. I'm pretty sure the suits at WB were paying attention to the massive success of The Force Awakens in 2015 given how Cursed Child was in development at that time.

Shocked that Rowling has loosened her grip on that leash enough for them to be able to do this, lol.

The lack of other HP projects hasn't been WB's choice, it's been hers.

Her becoming somewhat of a pariah due to her comments in the past couple of years has probably loosened that grip.

Yikes; Little Things is not getting good reviews.

Tbh, despite the intriguing cast (and I’ll watch anything Denzel is in) that trailer did nothing for me. Didnt sell the movie in the slightest and it seems like theres nothing to sell apparently.

Conflicting reports if it is actually happening, so I guess we will see.

If this were to happen, I'd be all for a show about a group of Aurors doing their thing.

The reviews are dissapointing, especially when you consider the level of talent in the cast, but I'm a huge Denzel fan and am still willing to go into it with an open mind and low expectations.

Atleast we don't have too wait long until Judas and the Black Messiah comes which actually looks amazing and I'm sure is going to deliver.

So this was probably obvious, but really glad to see that all of the movies in the DC Animated Movie Universe are on there now too. There are several of them I haven't seen, and I wouldn't mind re-watching the handful of ones I've seen, so probably going to start from the first movie and just watch them in order.

For those who don't know what the DCAMU is (probably not that many folks on here, but I didn't know it was a thing until recently myself): DC Animated Movie Universe - Wikipedia

Looks like they have almost all of the DC animated movies in general too (DC Universe Animated Original Movies - Wikipedia). The only movie I saw was missing from HBO Max is Green Lantern Emerald Knights. But good thing I have that on DVD, just haven't seen it yet. :o So many animated movies I haven't seen yet. Glad they're all in one place now!

And right now the only other major DC TV series I see missing is Swamp Thing. Hoping they add that soon. Along with Krypton which is also missing. Haven't seen that either. Static Shock still needs to be added too. Glad I caught that whole series when it was over at DC Universe.

'Godzilla vs. Kong' Release Date Changes Again - Variety

So Godzilla vs Kong is moved up a week. Probably to accommodate the Snyder cut. An R rated 4 hour nightmare.

I really don't get it. It's going to be worse than BvS. I think we're underestimating how much. It will be the tripling down of all of Snyder's worst impulses that made BvS so awful. I wouldn't be surprised if it's straight up unwatchable. Remember everybody hated BvS? Well, for some reason we need to be reminded again in two months and it won't be pretty. It'll be like having PTSD of an old war while being in a new war.

I still need all the old Supes stuff: the Fleischer cartoons, the George Reeves show, Superboy, Lois & Clark, and Superman: The Animated Series, namely.

I haven't seen most DC stuff made before the 90s so would appreciate those older shows myself too. Speaking of which, HBO Max also needs Adam West's Batman series. Have never seen it, and totally would if it's on there.

If this is true, then it will be glorious!

They really are spreading out the DCU library...le sigh

I probably wont watch it all right now but I WANT IT NOW! And for some reason batman beyond disappears from the DC section when you set it to AtoZ
