What article is this?Rereading the price hike article. The logic seems to be that people aren't moving in droves to the ad tier so that must mean they want to pay more for ads? What the **** do business minded people think?
This is actually a good example of why I feel like Disney is hesistant to combined Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Giving people the choice is probably bringing them in more money, then cutting out those who don't want to pay a much larger price for a bunch of stuff they don't care about.

Exactly. It’s like going to a restaurant that has a 100 menu items. I’d rather go to a restaurant that only has 5 items but are items I actually want to eat. This is probably true. Forcing consumers to order Food Network to get ESPN is one of the things that led to them abandoning cable for streaming in the first place.
Also it’s not a bad price for 3 streaming services!!That’s a good point with Disney. Now starting in December, there will be many more options with their bundles like if you only want Disney and Hulu but not ESPN, that will be a choice available.
They renamed all their bundles. Disney Bundle Trio Basic/Premium now. Premium gets you no ads for Hulu and Disney+. They didn't give the original Disney+ No Ads/Hulu with Ads/ESPN+ bundle a new name, though. That’s a good point with Disney. Oh ok I’ve had the original bundle from the start!! Don’t know what’s on my billThey renamed all their bundles. Disney Bundle Trio Basic/Premium now. Premium gets you no ads for Hulu and Disney+. They didn't give the original Disney+ No Ads/Hulu with Ads/ESPN+ bundle a new name, though.
And it looks like we may be cancelling Max soon.Guess I’ll be keeping my Prime membership after all.

Good. I have the bundle and haven't even bothered with ESPN as I quit watching ESPN years ago. I also have HBO Max and Discovery+ and as long as we're not talking a $15 to $25 jump for the ad free version I'm fine paying extra to have every thing in one spot. I think $20 would be fair.
As for Amazon getting DC animated content I hope it's just new stuff because if it's everything in my opinion that will devalue HBO Max.
Edit:
After realizing HBO Max and the ad supported Discovery+ cost $20, $25 for a ad free version of both is probably fair especially if they're planning on a price increase.
It sounds like it is only for new shows and not moving over legacy shows
