Hey, since the spider-man stories ae finally "going somewhere" with peter takeing a huge leap, and revealing his identity. I beleive with this new phase in spider-man life, its time he and M.J. have a child as well. Its about time IMO, that they gave spider-man something he wants more then anything else. Peter was once a shy young teen, and then a troubled college student, and now hes a grown married man. The evolution of the spider-man chracter is finally going further these days. Its time to give him a kid, and im sure that would be a really great story. Because their is no greater adventurer IMO then raiseing a child. Peter Parker will finally come full circle, he will finally become that man his uncle new he could be. for a long time, i felt that the spider-man stores were going nowhere. Hell i feel that way about comic book heroes in general these days. They are stuck perpentually young, and they never seem to go past a certain point in the comics. lets all be honest comics haven't really gone anywhere per say for years. The heroes are kept in a time loop, and their represented in some timeless fashion that never changes at times.
Do you guys ever wonder what spider-man wil be like as an old-man? What all the heroes wil be like years from now in comic book time. The heroes always are shown putting on the mask, but they are rarely shown takeing it off. I just see spider-man haveing a kid as a way to finally make this character grow up, and move forward in his life.
