The top album of the decade came from an act that's not even around anymore — 'N Sync. Billboard magazine says the boy band led by Justin Timberlake had the decade's best-selling album with "No Strings Attached," which sold more than 10 million copies.

ANY NSYNC song comes on at a party, EVERYONE is up and they know the words. It's a great way to get people to move when a part is dying.

Um, no. The only boy band song I consider a guilty pleasure is Everybody (Backstreet's Back) by the Backstreet Boys. And that was mostly cause of the music video. Plus, the late `90s boy band craze hadn't exactly started yet when it was released.

you can blame itunes and such for such a rapid decline in sales.

Never said I LIKE Nsync, not like "greatest pop band EVAR" like, but yeah, I know the words to their more popular songs.

If you want fun music, listen to Andrew WK, who is so energetic and sincere about everything he does that if Nsync had even an ounce of his passion, they could have been at least a decent enough group. There's plenty of fun music that's not put together by a board of old white guys in suits on the basis of fulfilling the needs of a specific target demographic.
