No, no, no. Don't you see? It's a brilliant piece of political strategy by Mirko. He singles out the leader of the resistance, makes him a mod (over just a single board that hardly anyone frequents) with very little power, and makes him feel like he's equal and important. In the meantime, Mirko gets free labor and effectively quiets the resistance by turning it's primary, loudest voice into an Uncle Tom. It's brilliant.

You are initially excited that one of your own has been brought into the mod fold only to later discover that he's just like the rest of them after awhile and is no longer the proud voice for your cause that he once was, causing unrest and anger amidst the numbered posters for being betrayed.
