NumbersInName Prejudice is Wrong

Numericaphobia," or prejudice against posters with numbers in their screen names, stems from fearing the unknown, Edgar Hopida, spokesman for the San Diego Council on Number-Non Number Relations told a group of Boston College students Wednesday.

"It's a very problematic mentality which takes root from years of misunderstanding," Hopida told the crowd after projecting some statistics on a screen.

Almost 60 percent of forum posters are "not very knowledgeable" or "not at all knowledgeable" about screen names with numbers and nearly one-fifth admit to intolerant feelings towards said posters, according to the council's 2006 survey of public opinion about posters with numbers in their screen names.

So true. :csad:

Well, I've never been called a name. So I'm not even stressing about it. :o

Don't shoot the messenger. :o :csad:

I'm calling for the firing of the editor of that rag that you people purport as "journalism". Ain't nothin' but hate speech packaged with cute pictures and glossy borders.

"It's garbage!"

It's probably because your Non-NumbersInName friends can approach you without hesitation because of your fair comp1exion. They see us pure NumbersInName folk and get intimidated. :o

I would like to see a mandatory registration database for NumberedName posters, sort of like the National Sex Offender Registry. That way we could know where they are at. It would come in handy if you were travelling or buying a new home or something, that way you could avoid the areas they are living in.

I'm light. But Not light of enough to pass. Do trust. There's no fractions in my equation. Just a few multiples.

...qft.

I didn't know when I moved into Community there'd be so many Numbered Posters. :(

Numbered Posters are going to bring drugs into the Community.

And numbered projects are going to be erected for them. Tis a shame. Ah well, I'm going to my plush little home in the burbs. I'm that kinda numbah.

You can try as hard as you want to fit in, but at the end of the day, you're one of us.

"In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they will hate you."

Welcome to 2007, gentlemen. Our numbers have grown as creativity has declined. You will oppress us and suppress our voices no more.

Don't like it? Start a club or a clan or something. :whatever:

What do you call a numbered poster with half a brain?

Gifted.

Hahahaha.

That's me though. :csad:

If the numbers don't fit, don't hit submit.

This brings up another point. The moderators of this oppressive institution have shown even stronger bias against my NumbersInName brothers and sisters in favor of those of the Non-NumbersInName variety.

Evidence? Here's an incident from 2006 (some of the following is heavily paraphrased):

StorminNorman said:
cmill, you're such a prick.

cmill216 said:
What the heck? I didn't do anything to you.

StorminNorman said:
You're an ugly prick that no one likes. You should just leave, you dirty, smelly, stinkin' nasty waste of e-space.

cmill216 said:
Why are you acting like this? We were just talking about Batman.

StorminNorman said:
Screw you, f***in' asshat!

DOG LIPS said:
cmill216, stop fighting.

cmill216 said:
Wait, what? I didn't do anything.

DOG LIPS said:
Yes, you did. You're trolling. Quiet down.

cmill216 said:
 Norman called me an asshat. HE attacked ME!

DOG LIPS said:
Did you just call me an asshat?

cmill216 said:
What? No! I was just saying...

DOG LIPS said:
Two weeks off! Goodbye! ....dirty NumbersInName.....

I applaud DOG LIPS' efforts to clean up our streets.
