Here is the thread where you vote on the winner for the October Fan Art contest. The theme was to redesign Mr. Freeze. The winner will receive the ability to have 250kb avatars.

Below I will post the submissions and a poll will be up in which you vote for your favorite.

Pen on paper.

revenge is a dish best served cold

I researched a lot of severe frostbite and cryogenicly frozen body parts and put this together, not only did his accident make him depend on the cold to survive but his entire body was frost bitten but to different degrees. In order to stay alive he developed Bionic eyes to monitor of his life support systems an outlet that plugged into his brain and nervous system and hoses to give oxygen and blood to his brain, and suit that was a cross between life support and a battle suit. only 3 quarters of his organs survived and only a torso and head and spine were uneffected. with out the suit or costant exposure to below freezing bionic nitrogen nano gas his body will crumble into ice and dust.

I used as inspiration the color schemes of some artic animals (penguins and orcas in particular) and some fancy Preminger eyebrows. Hope you like it!

Ok I'm really not a colored pencil guy. My medium is water color and ink washes, but I'm trying to branch out.

I really wanted to take him back to basics. I also wanted to remove one of his most recognizable features, the big glass dome.
Here was my idea. The unit on his chest plugs directly into his heart. A coolant mixes with venom and his blood circulates through his body keeping him alive and removing his need for a totally airtight suit. The mask on his face gives him frosty air and keeps his lungs and the O2 that mixes with his blood cold. I wanted to give him a gritty retro look. I also mounted the cold gun on his arm, mainly just because I thought it would look kind of cool.
Can't wait to see what everyone else came up with.

I went for a practical look. I figured he is a scientist, so he doesn't need any unnecessary design or flash to his suit. So I figured any manufacturing done by him would serve purpose.

Ran out of time for a background.

There are a lot of cool entries, but for me it finally came down too hulk24 and bane, bane's wins cause it makes me go :awesome: just a little bit more

God I can't believe mine is actually up there lol. I'm rooting for Polaris all the way!!!!

I voted for Bane's entry. It looks really nice, excellent details, & vibrant colors.

I voted for thewhyteman. I really liked the simplicity/retro feeling of it.

good luck to everyone! I wish i had the time to do a full body but since it's almost halloween the workload is intense! and I voted for......drumroll..... me! lol[FONT=&quot]

I voted for Bane's. Some good design elements from all though.

Yes, very good designs. The three I like the best are those of Hulk24, Bane and McSqueeb. I will have to be sure I am aware of the next contest, so that I may enter. I have been working on a colored pencil rendering of Batman as a Christmas gift for one of my nephews. Once I get it finished, I'll see about posting a picture of it. A couple of years ago, I created a colored pencil drawing of Captain America for my other young nephew. It is a lot of fun drawing and painting superheros and supervillains. A lot of great artwork reboots of Mr. Freeze. Keep up the great work, everybody!

All of these are really great work. I was torn between polaris' and bane's. Bane's is certainly eye-popping and vibrant, and has that extra cool factor. But I voted for polaris', which I think captures the character best by presenting something very sad, tragic, and sorrowful looking, but also a bit creepy as well.

Bane, the tubes on the suit in your design, are they where he plugs it in somewhere to power up? as they seem to be detachable as he couldn't walk around with them like that.

I truly appreciate it, maestro!

Thanks to everyone who voted for my entry!
My idea for the tubes was that the're somekind of Bane's venom(to power him up even more), but yeah, he can walk on his own.

Gotcha, so the tubes ascending from the back detach once the suit has been juiced up by a machine?

Yep, he also controls the tubes with his suit to move around and float in air, to have a bigger range over his enemies while being in his Freeze lair.

I really like that double use concept.

They're all excellent, but Banana-Hotdog's is the best.

Great job, guys.

This poll is preposterously close. A tie down to the hundreth of a percent?!
