Odin's New Art Thread

Okay, my thread died. So I'm a starting a new one with this:

HELLBOY VS DAVY JONES

 

[Odin's Fury]

A redesign of Steel. My idea is that, instead of being this huge guy, John Henry Irons is a rather wimpy little engineer (as, in my experience, engineers tend to be). This suit is about 8 feet tall or so, and basically just intimidating as all hell. John, instead of actually wearing the suit, rides along inside a type of "womb" using virtual reality to control it (ala the matrix). That's what the detail is trying to show. He may look really small, but I'm seeing him as about 5 feet tall and thin as a rail.

I'm hoping this is gonna be the first of a series of redesigns of the cast of "reign of the supermen". I think the eradicator will be next.

Yeah I don't really mind. I usually d othe whole contest thing just as practice for myself. It's a way to force me to draw, and maybe draw something else I'm not used to. So it's all good.
