Interesting idea. Similar to Back To The Future perhaps? Maybe Link bumps into another version of himself and sets about a chain reaction that changes past events? Ganon ends up ruling the world or something with all descendants of Zelda & Link in chains..? :cwink:

Maybe Ganondorf from "A link to the past" and Ganondorf from "Ocarina of Time" team up

Maybe fight an evil Link who lived in a corrupt world.

Also have a journey to collect one item from each time

Three versions of link

Kid
Teen
30 year old looking Link

If they did, that was like 15 years ago when there were half as many games.

The Oracle games can fit in a number of places.

Exactly, unlike the Nintendo games where you can easily place them somewhere on a split timeline because they specifically mention where to place them, it's kinda hard to figure out where to place the Capcom developed Zelda games.

They do count, and they're not bad games, but they're just very, very hard to place. For me, the less you think about where to put those particular games belong in the timeline, the better.

I just got done with my first play through of Link's Awakening on the 3DS and it kicked my ass. Very engaging, long and difficult. Overall it was a great game. The ending sort of caught me off guard by [BLACKOUT]pulling a Dallas and having the adventure and everything all be nothing more than a dream. [/BLACKOUT]I was expecting the Wind Fish to actually morph into this bloke at any second and say to me...

"WHAT A TWIST!"

:awesome:

Now onto Ocarina of Time 3D!

Awesome, hope we get an official release date soon. On Facebook a while back I heard Gamestop has it set at September 25th, hopefully that'll end up being true. I'd hate to wait all the way until holiday.

You can upgrade your items in Skyward Sword

What I can say is what we've done with the game this time that I think is a little different is we've built an entire upgrade system into the game. You can see right now that Link has his traditional shield, but you actually get a lot of different shields in the game. You start off with a very basic one, and as you fight enemies you're recover these treasure or artifacts that you then use as resources to upgrade your items. You can do that with the shield, you can do that with the beetle, and some of the other items that you have. You'll be combining your collection of rupees and your collection of these resources and improve the items you have.

Sounds pretty cool.

There's no Ganon in the game which is really surprising.

Not at all. They've confirmed this takes place before Ocarina of Time which is Ganon's chronological first appearance.

I wonder if the Oocca from TP will have any role... as they are an ancient race that lives in a city in the sky.

I was wondering that too. Word round the camp fire is, the race of people Link comes from in SS evolve into the Oocca.

Okay guys, I found A Link to the Past for $65 in excellent condition with the box and everything in it. The question is: should I get it?

The Motion Plus is in the controller. No attachment needed.
