In the other poll X-Men and Cap were separated by 8 votes. Maybe with the inclusion of Guardians they are taking more of the X-Men votes instead of the Cap votes.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Probably the second best Marvel film after Spider-Man 2.

I voted Cap 2, but to me it's interchangeable with Guardians.

I am surprised Cap seems to be winning already, I loved it but I loved GOTG and DOFP more, Cap loses a little steam and gets a bit ridiculous by the 3rd act and thats why it doesnt quite match up to the other 2 for me.

Is it possible Cap is getting a boost because its on home video now and people have watched it more recently I wonder?

Nope. Just preferred Captain America 2.

I've only seen the superhero movies.

But DOFP has it all: comedy, tragedy, drama, suspense, etc.

It's firing on all cylinders and I love the message.

So while Cap 2 and GotG were very enjoyable they didn't touch my heart and mind like DOFP.

ASM2 was just straight up trash and I say that as someone who was rooting for the series. They should've avoided the cheesey route altogether.

Possibly, DOFP was winning that one as well wasnt it?

I watched TASM2 again tonight, I really wouldnt say its a bad movie, and if it had come out last year it may have gotten a better reception, but compared to the big 3 from this year it definitely falls short.

Maybe it is because people just thought it was better. Like me. Hence why I voted for it. Granted, polls like this are not perfect. But, I don't think that has anything to do with it.

In your opinion. Plenty on the list are very good and up to the viewer.

That said, I'd like to change my vote to Snowpiercer.

I have yet to see Snowpiercer but I saw EoT 3 times and it's very good. I forgot it was based on a Japanese graphic novel or something like that. It still wouldn't beat Cap2 for me(I become less jazzed about that film once the 3rd act starts and the day-resetting stops) but I'd give it the runner up spot.

It would still be the same movie, but every CBM last year had mixed receptions, non really stood out, at least on sites like this and amoung fanboys. This year it has had to compete with 3 CBM's that are amoung the best ever.

Did people not see my following post were I said I was playing devils advocate? I was just trying to stir a bit of discussion up . If people honestly think TWS is the best thats up to them entirely.

Top 3 for me would be:

1. X-Men DOFP
2. Captain America TWS
3. GOTG

Then a big gap to anything else on the list.

Sin City is by far the worst I've seen so far, not sure how that turned out so dull.

I could've swore GotG and Cap 2 was going to divide the MCU fans in half allowing DOFP to emerge as the leader.

I guess Cap 2 has a stronger fanboy following than GotG.

I guess GotG was most appealing to the uninitiated(which is the mass of the general audience for ANY movie) while Cap2 required some familiarity(from previous films) to fully get what's so great about it and thus is more appealing to the invested audience.

Because I know nothing of GOTG and didn't like trailers.It's same with TMNT,300,and Sin city sequel.If you want to call robocop reboot a comic book
film then add that to ones i have no plans to see.
