I'm Glad Cap 2 is doing better this time around, it deserves it

I still think this poll is early though
anytime you have a poll like this too close to the release of one particular film, that film will always get a boost in the vote, whether or not it actually deserves it.
Not that GOTG appears to be getting too much of a boost right now, but I'm just sayin

and that's not to mention the still-to-be-released Big Hero 6, which totally counts and could be great, who knows...

Seems a given it's gonna be between Cap and X-Men now.

Wonder how it would be with a Captain America: The First Avenger vs X-Men First Class poll.

Tough to say. It was First Class. http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=466797

Not even 100 votes there though . Depends on who is linking the poll to the films boards, which fans find the poll etc. First Class seemed to change from the majority's fav X-Men film http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=355503...

...to X2 "is way better" after DOFP was announced. http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=462217
Not as many votes but **** changes as do members.

More curious on if this poll is finding enough people to show a clear winner so far for a film or the SHH boards. Overall, I'd say not yet and it will be tough to decide a clear winner since three were given such solid reception. Guardians just seems to destroy other polls from what I have seen, and with the polls on here I'd think they need at least 200 votes to get a good idea. Alot to take into account.

To me there's no doubt X2 takes the cake, always has
but hey, I though FC was a flaming turd so, my opinion matters little on that one

^X2 is still amazing, possibly the best cinema experience I have ever had, though DOFP came close. Only TDK has bettered X2 since for me, and before anyone asks, I am a much bigger X-Men fan than Batman fan.

One of my favourite things about X2 is how the team is split up into groups to better let each have their moments

You have Logan with Iceman, Rogue and Pyro
You have Storm with Jean tracking Nightcrawler
And you have Scott with Prof X

That doesn't always matter.Superman(1978) Is my favorate DC film yet I am
bigger Batman fan.I an bigger Spider-man fan than Superman yet I place
the Donner/Reeve Superman before any Spider-man film.

I probally would place Captain America The winter soldier above the wolverine and First Class even though X-Men Is my top comic book franchise that I like.

I defently have winter soldier ahead of Amazing Spider-man 2 and I am bigger
Spider-man fan.

Some would argue about that:cwink: I sure wouldn't:woot:

You had wolverine fighting Deathstrike while Jean had to deal with Mind controled Cyclops,Storm and Nightcrawler went after prisoners, and Magneto
stopped Stryker's plan. When he reprogramed it to go after humans It was
Storm and Nightcrawler who saved world by going through Jason to get to
Xavier.

I will always disagree that X2 Is just about wolverine.

Yes X2 is amazing but for me Days of Future Past is much better! Even though I wish we got more scenes from the original cast. There are just more scenes in DOFP that I was like WOOOWW! Like

1. Time's up - opening battle
2. Is everybody okay? - Sentinels attack
3. Where else would I be? - new future
4. I have faith in you - climax
5. Whiplash - Quicksilver's Pentagon scenes
6. We need you to hope again - Two Professor Xes
and many more!!!

Every time I want to vote for another movie I think of Cap 2's fighting sequences... they always break the tie breaker for me.

Yeah its great, every character gets their moment to shine, it balances it very well, sure some get more focus, but overall everyone their moment to shine.

Agreed, again, such a good movie, and so under-rated these days.

DOFP was pretty good. The rest was pure trash.

(haven't seen tmnt or transformers , nor i expect that to change in the future)

That's a good point about number of votes. I believe Lord is planning to create a poll in the Misc Films section once Big Hero 6 has been released.

The poll should get much more traffic in that section so it will be interesting to see how it affects the results.

Trash , as in perfectly disposable. Yes , just completely throw-away products.

Not necessarily bad movies, as ASM 2 for instance. Just merely forgettable , incapable of leaving any traces of their existence after the final frame.

Putting them side to side with DOFP , its just a gargantuan difference.

Captain America 2 is my favorite
Then Amazing Spider-Man 2
X-Men Days of Future Past

You're not putting Winter Soldier and Guardians on the same level with ASM2 are you??

Wow. Next he/she will say that Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back are only ok and one shouldn't put them on the same level as Return of the JedI!

Spider-Aziz already answered. They have different levels of craft. No doubt.

But they all belong to the big bag of cinema irrelevancy.

DOFP is a legitimately good movie.

I did love TWS and especially GOTG, but I know what these guys are saying, DOFP just felt special, like a movie you wont ever get tired of watching because the amount of emotions you go through watching it will never get old. It was a movie that only comes along every now and again.

I'm not here to change anyone's mind as your opinion is just that but movies that are "trash" don't get critically acclaimed with RT ratings ranging from 89-92%, and in my opinion GOTG will be the one remembered by the masses (GA and Fanboys) for years to come while DOFP will fade from the GAs memory as most X-Flicks do. It was good but X2 and FC were better. Not sure how Cap will fare when it comes to lasting appeal but I did love it.
