Kirkman's doing pretty well. But after the horridness that was Vaughan's run, maybe I'm being too generous? Who knows, but at least he's better than his predecessor:up:

You thought Vaughn's run was horrid?

Dude, it was the best run on Ultimate X-Men, I DROPPED the book when Vaughn left because it became an utter borefest after the awesomeness that was Vaughn.

That looks like the "expected" list for next week from Diamond's homepage, which is "tentative and subject to change". For example, Absolute Sandman is missing from it.

Diamond's lists are only finalised on the monday before shipping.

Where do you people get off describing which Ultimate X-Men writer had a good run, when it's clear that UXM has pretty much always been crap:up:

Seriously, it's all, Millar sucked, Bendis sucked, BKV sucked, Kirkman sucks. I have an idea, maybe the book sucks, and will always suck, and you should drop it because of its suckiness

That's your entitled opinion. Others may vary. I enjoyed Millar's run, although his climaxes were hit or miss and he launched the book in cynical darkness. Bendis' first arc sucked but his second improved, although he once again relied heavilly on killing someone off. Vaughan lightened the hell out of the book and had some unique twists. Kirkman's run so far has been very underwhelming. That's my POV though.

It also may be worth noting that in the U.S., where Monday (today) is a federal holiday, comics may come in on Thursday.

Ultimate X-men #75 $3.99

My boyfriend gets all the rest that I read for this week.

I guess I was reading a DIFFERENT Ultimate X-Men written by Brian K. Vaughn and Pencils by Stuart Immonen.

That's exactly why i thought it sucked. It was all so fluffy and contrasting with what Millar and Bendis did. Almost every story feeled like basic superhero action, fill-in stuff. And goddamn did he make the teenagers annoying.

Kirkman's better, I say. I liked the annual too. Any story making a hero look like a crazy ******* is worth it to me:o

Not Jake, spittin' some wisdom.

(Yo)

But it's Ultimate; therefore, it's crap.

And that is MY opinion. :word:

:yay:
