Hollywood has always been that way. Just to let everybody know, this film is about green Lantern, not Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively. We should be going to the film to see the characters, and not the actors who play them.

Not specifically related to the film but just wanted to share a photo of this new Kilowog shirt I made today at work.

The two new images are okay. I wish they would give us some more images of the suit or characters. Its becoming harder to wait for new stuff when they tease with everything but what you really want to see. Just have to be patient I guess. Looks like Hal is a bit hesitant in putting the ring on.

Ryan Reynolds Likes the ‘Green Lantern’ CGI Suit


In the brightest day, in the blackest night, everyone noticed the Green Lantern’s blight.

Many fan boys have griped over the CGI-looking “Green Lantern” as too much like a cartoon.

In an Empire Magazine interview, actor Ryan Reynolds defended “The Green Lantern” suit.

“It’s not ‘The Dark Knight.’ I don’t put the suit on and my voice drops several octaves,” said Reynolds. “The suit is powered specifically on his will, his emotion, his creativity and his imagination. I love that.”

Reynolds wore a grey sensor suit for the production of the film.

He added, “It has to be virtual rather than spandex. This is a suit from an alien planet.”

Here is the film’s official synopsis:

“In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.”

The film is directed by Martin Campbell. It also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong.

Warner Bros. will distribute the film. It will be in theaters on June 17 this year.

She's been around planes all of her life and took interest/started learning at a very young age.
