Official Green Lantern News & Discussion Thread - Part 2

We saw 4 scenes. First was Abin-Sur piloting his ship and being attacked by Parallax - was awesome. Then he ends up on Earth, next scene was Hal talking with Abin while he was dying. Seem scene choppy, but he gives him ring. Next was him saying oath for the first time, then he goes to Oa immediately. Then we see him talking with Tomar-Re on Oa with Geoffrey Rush's voice and a GREAT looking very 'alive' CGI costume that looks MUCH better than the first trailer. Then we saw Sinestro addressing the Green Lantern Corps down in the core of Oa. Not fully finished but was great. Lots of other alien GLs seen there as there's a huge crowd of thousand of GLs and lots that people will totally geek out about. Won't spoil which ones. That was it plus a little montage of extra footage. I think it looks awesome, way way more excited than I was before this. Expect to see all of this footage at WonderCon, as it seemed hand picked for Green Lantern fans. Enjoy!

Wasn't the first Cars film the worst performing one at the BO out of all of Pixars films?

Anyway, of course the families will take their under 10 year olds to see Cars 2but the teens and tweens will not flock to it and neither will the over 30 year olds.

I don't remember there being many "naysayers" or "trolls" in this section.

dnno1, all we are getting right now is a bunch of Twitters from people that would be more likely to like and bolster what is being shown. Even GI JOE got a some positive early reviews.

If its so great why are they taking so long to show everything? Why didn't they have a conventional trailer shown already? They are running behind. They are relying more on Deathly Hallows 2.

I want to see the film and I like these reports but I won't say that I don't doubt the film. I doubt almost all films. GL and Captain America are the only comicbook movies that I'm interested in this year. C.A's trailer was fantastic and GL's wasn't great (shakey editing and Blake Lively) but I liked it.

As I said before I will probably see Thor but it looks terrible to me and I was never a fan of the X-Men movies so I'll only see it if I'm disperate to see a film. I only care how GL and CA turn out.

Better hearing these VERY positive tweets and reports regarding the new Green Lantern footage being awesome, than hearing that it completely sucked right?

first off, are you really going to doubt the internet and SHH! to not produce naysayers at some point? they'll be here, just be patient. secondly, do you really wanna say crap like this to encourage naysayers to come out?

enjoy these reports for what they are. dont use them to throw in other peoples faces. its immature and unnecessary.

Dark Knight I don't even give a crap or care about X-men: First Class so get that crap out of here.

I haven't seen the footage for myself so I don't really trust the Twitters of DC employees and comic artists that are on the payroll. I was disappointed with the first trailer released.

I was at San Diego Comic Con and I saw the first footage they released and that was disappointing as well. I did video coverage of the post-panel press conference as well so don't get all sanctimonious and high and mighty with me.
