there are alot of films that have all of that in spades yet they don't see the financial success of Bayformers.

now that's a little uncalled for ain't it.

I watched "First Flight" the animated movie again. What I liked about Hal in it is that he really shows his independence and natural leadership. Like when they're in the wormhole chasing the ship, his construct is the best to take out the bad guys, he pushes ahead of the other Lanterns to catch up to the ship, and he is tough and quick-thinking. Plus he has a lot to prove being the first human GL. I hope we see that in Reynold's portrayal.

it would cool but I doubt it.

Moreover, ever since johns showed up and put the blame on the giant yellow monster, my hopes of ever seeing Parallax Hal Jordan recognized have been dashed. Now that would have been the sequel to end all sequels.
