Oh I see.

How can people be getting antsy? :hehe:

We've had the 4 minute reel from Comic Con, new T.V spots & posters. Waiting just a little bit longer for the last trailer should be no biggie.

Don't get me wrong I still think WB should definitely release a final theatrical trailer but I can wait considering all the other stuff they've been releasing.

This week, we've gotten two posters and a banner. Not bad at all. :D

I expect a trailer if not today/tomorrow, next week.

Need that poster in HQ quality...immediately!

That's pretty badass if that allusion was done on purpose.

That hq poster, it made magic by making me smile. I haven't smiled out of joy for months (more than a few).

well if trailer doesnt show up in next hour,it will probably be online next week.it probably has something to do with 5 big trailers this week for other films.they probably want whole week for themselves.but then again, all these posters... lets just wait for a little bit...

Hey kurac - I thought the same thing. But still, let us wait.

Here's a little gem while we wait: Tom Powell's unfilmed The Green Lantern Script.

United States Defense Secretary Alan Scott watches as NASA astronauts Hal Jordan and John Stewart use an advanced space shuttle in order to destroy a meteor that is making its way to Earth. They suceed, but the shuttle is damaged and they are saved by Abin Sur, the Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814, who leaves before anyone can see him.

They are declared heroes and, while John accepts a desk job in NASA, Hal returns to Coast City and starts working as a test pilot in Ferris Aircraft, a company owned by his father's best friend, Carl Ferris. 10 years later, Hal is the president of Ferris Aircraft and is dating Carl's daughter, test pilot Carol Ferris, who has a 10-year-old son named Kyle Rayner.

Meanwhile, in Space, Abin Sur is attacked by Darkseid, a intergalactic conqueror, and Sinestro, a renegade Green Lantern who has made a yellow power ring for himself. Darkseid wants to steal a green power ring in order to discover the location of the planet Oa, hidden in another dimension, and use the power of the Central Green Power Battery to himself. In exchange for helping him, Sinestro will rule his homeworld, Korugar, once more.

Abin refuses to let Darkseid steal his ring and escapes, making his way to Earth and passing his ring and power battery to Jordan, the only human he knows. Jordan tells Scott and John, and they take him to a military base, where he meets General John Brody. They start studying the ring in hopes of using its power to protect the human race. However, Hal soon realizes that they are only interested in using it to their own benefit and decides that he'll look after Earth alone. The army, displeased, brings in Guy Gardner, a hotshot Marine, to replace Jordan as the ring's pilot.

Meanwhile, Darkseid and Sinestro slay several Green Lanterns all over the Universe, including Chummuck, G'Nort and Xax. The surviving members of the Green Lantern Corps, led by Tomar-Re and including Kilowog and Katma Tui, meet and decide to join forces against Darkseid and Sinestro. Tomar-Re notes that Abin's ring has been passed on and sends Kilowog to Earth to recruit Jordan. Darkseid, on the other hand, sends robots after the ring, which Sinestro has located.

On Earth, the robots attack and Guy tries to use the ring to fight them, but fails. Hal takes over and destroys them following Kyle's suggestion that he uses the ring to make constructs. Kilowog appears, just as Sinestro arrives and defeats Jordan in battle. Carol, who had been told the truth by Hal, uses the Star Sapphire Jet Fighter to help Hal against Sinestro, who is defeated. Sinestro's ring is destroyed and he is arrested by Scott and Brody.

Darkseid and his armada arrive on Earth and prepare to invade it when the Green Lantern Corps, reunited by Tomar-Re, appears to assist Jordan and Kilowog. Darkseid becomes scared and retreats. The Corps celebrate their victory and invite Hal to undergo training in planet Oa, where he meets the Guardians of the Universe, creators of the Corps, who compliment Hal for his bravery.

One year later, Hal returns to Earth and reunites with Carol and Kyle. He adopts the identity of Green Lantern, Earth's first superhero, with back-up provided by Scott, Brody, Gardner and John, who now work at a secret governmental agency created by the American government to monitor extraterrestrial activity on Earth.

I like it, but I would have switched out Darkseid for Mongul. It sounds more like Mongul to me. I'm glad that wasn't the movie though.
