Pretty sad, huh?

Yup. I hate that movie so much, because if there's one complaint I hear constantly from (some) Marvel and Batman fans, it's that Superman is just a boring, lifeless boy scout. Superman Returns did everything it could to prove them right.

Nobody here is claiming that Green Lantern is the best Comic book Movie ever made, many posters who like the movie acknowledge that it has many flaws, but to say that this movie was worse than the worst movies out there (below Catwoman, Ghostrider, Elektra, Batman and Robin, GI Joe, Transformers 2) is a troll.

I don't nessisarily think it's worse than those movies, but it's in that catagory. I keep hearing this movie is "in the middle" from people who liked it. Where is the middle? I know this is all subjective, but to me a movie like X1 would be "in the middle", and to me it's no where near that good.

The best example of comparision I can come up with is the first Fantastic Four movie. They both have horrible scripts, a lack of vision and direction. They've both very derivative of other superhero films. They both have weak villians (although IMO GL takes weak villians to a whole new level of lameness). They both have wooden uninspired acting.

i have an expensive idea.in the sequel Sinestro makes hes corps. and then Hal brings together all corps to fight them all . because i am in ''cliche'' mode Hal has a big speach. like Braveheart and Avatar.
can you imagine a final fight with Sinestro and Hal and in the background you see all the corps fighting? fighting in space and on planets. the whole movie is in space.

Bear her midsection on film. You know, the nice thing about CGI characters, is that you don't have to pay them extra to show flesh.

I could envision a scene as great as "Attack of the Clones", but it all depends on how long the film will run. It may just happen in the third film, though.

The Masters of the Universe vibe is all over Thor. It's unmistakable. That's really the main reason I like it.

Y;know what's funny is they called it masters of the universe...but did they ever really spend much time in space? Wasn't it more mythology/fantasy than sci-fi?

Having an opinion of how bad the movie is is NOT trollish behavior. What is trollish behavior is insulting other posters and pushing your opinion on them. Some people thought it was B&R bad, and that is their right.

Nobody should be acting high and mighty about their love/hate of this movie. It's an interpretive artform. People will either love it, hate it, think it is okay, not like it overall, etc. Having that opinion is not being a troll. How you go about discussing your opinion is.

If you can't take differing opinions, I am sorry. That is on you. This is a site for people to be able to share their thoughts in a respectful manner. Often, these will conflict with your views.
