Enjoying Monster Hunter..May get the WiiU version because I really like the idea of being able to play as my DS Hunter via the save swap.
 
I hope there's no dumbass delay with Luigi's Mansion like there was with Fire Emblem and Lego City
 
I finally picked up Super Mario 3D Land. Very very fun, and the best 3D I've seen on the system, yet. Great game, so far. :)
 
Playing as Alucard in Castlevania and I getting major SotN vibes. Such a good game. Luigi's Mansion tomorrow!
 
Anyone getting the Pikachu 3DS today?
 
I'll be picking up Luigi's Mansion this week, but for now I'm content with snagging a Pikachu 3DS. It was a little difficult in obtaining it, since it was already sold out in a lot of stores, but found it at Wally World.
 
I picked up Monster Hunter and Luigi's Mansion off of the eShop this weekend. Both are awesome for their own reasons.

I really like the animation in Luigi's Mansion, the smaller locations really let them ensure there's good detail with everything. Also the first game was awesome, and it's great to be back bustin' ghosts.

Monster Hunter is a large, convoluted beast, but I'm getting the hang of it.

You need Luigi's Mansion in order to download Miyamoto's Mii, right?
 
Apparently he randomly shows up if you've played it. I have friends that have the game and he hasn't shown up yet...So..I dunno. But I assume the chance of meeting him is much larger if you get Luigi's Mansion.
 
I ordered Super Mario 3D Land and Luigi's Mansion with my 3DS. For the future I have my sights set on Kid Icarus, Ocarina of Time, and possibly MonHun and Fire Emblem depending on how I like the demos.

Besides those, what are the "must have" games on the 3DS?
 
I'm not sure I'd call Kid Icarus a "must have" ...It just didn't feel "right" for me to be honest. Legend of Zelda: OoT is a must have IMHO, I have several copies of that game but I like having one on the go for when the urge hits me. Also, keep an eye out on the upcoming launch line up as it's going to be a stellar year for the 3DS.

Donkey Kong Country Returns hits in May, we know a new Super Smash Bros. is coming soon as well plus Pokemon X/Y this fall.
 
I wasn't necessarily saying that the games I mentioned are must haves, just that I'm probably going to get them at some point, so don't bother mentioning them.

Mario Kart definitely is a must have & I particularly enjoy Mario Tennis. Also upcoming games like Mario Golf, Donkey Kong, & Pokemon X/Y are definitely ones to consider.
 
Ah, gotcha.

Mario 3D Land is the best Mario game since 64, IMHO.
 
Yeah, if you don't have Mario Kart, you should definitely pick that up.
 
I would, but I've been playing Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed on PC kind of obsessively. It's probably the best kart racer ever. Everyone should play it! Not the 3DS version though.
