To be honest, I only ever played Luigi's Mansion at the store. If I had had time to really get into it, I probably would've liked it more. I think it was since it was such a departure from the regular Mario series that I dismissed it... an odd thing to do since I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan.

I missed out on Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin since SSB Melee came out so close to the GC's release, I just got Melee and played that game for the next 7 years...

A new Rogue Squadron would be cool, I loved that game. Pikmin is awesome, but I still like the second one more... no time limit. Speaking of which, I heard Pikmin 3 could be shown at E3.

i always felt like rogue squadron was a sort of starfox replacement - id like both of course - why cant we get an awesome starfox game?

I have a feeling Star Fox is going to be one of their main titles for the Wii 2.

Not that I'm dying for a new one, but where the hell is F-Zero? An entire generation of Wii and DS and no FZ? At least StarFox got a DS sequel.

Today i tried the 3DS for the first time, at a mall next to me.
Ok, not really tried, just picked it up for like 1 minute.
It was Super Street Fighter IV 3D edition, and my only interest was to see how the 3D effected fared....i liked it, a lot.

I´m not big on the all 3D craze, i can see the effect just fine, but, imo, it doesn´t make things better, just make things pop-out like a children´s book.
But, in the 3DS, without glasses, i loved it...
Ok, if i had one, probably would be sick of the 3D after a couple of hours, but the no glasses part make it better than any movie.

I'd really love to see Yoshi's Island make a big comeback. A 3D remake of the original or something.

Yoshi's Island and DKC were my biggest games when I was a kid.

Japanese retail news blog Sinobi (translated by Andriasang) reports Nintendo has a somewhat surprising supply strategy for its upcoming, three-dimensional remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. According to the blog, Nintendo's initial shipment of the title to retailers will be "extremely small." Furthermore, Nintendo supposedly isn't letting retailers order extra units of the game, and is allotting a limited number of copies for all retailers, regardless of their respective size.

It seems bananas to limit supply on the 3DS' most anticipated title to date, but Sinobi suggests this could be a reaction to the overstocking of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, which ended up in Japanese bargain bins faster than the franchise is likely used to. If that's the case, then Nintendo is forgetting one very important factor: Spirit Tracks is a pretty okay game, while Ocarina of Time is the best game ever made.

Wow... short supply your system seller, who's the dope that thought this would be a good idea? I can't see people running out and spending 290 on the 3DS and OoT.

Hopefully this rumor isn't true, in fact... It can't be. Nintendo isn't this stupid.

So I caved yesterday and bought a 3DS along with Rayman.

So far it's pretty awesome. The Streetpass option sounds really cool, I just need to get out where there are people and hopefully get some tags on it.

So I played Super Street Fighter 4 3DS today.... needless to say I was pretty impressed. The 3D was REALLY good and it controlled pretty flawlessly. I'd love to see Mortal Kombat 3D on the system.

I found the controls to be...well, lets just say that Hadoken motions, the easiest motion in ANY fighting, are impossible for me on the 3DS.

Seriously? It felt JUST like an arcade stick to me. Like, almost as if I was standing at a machine.

Yea, the little bit I've played of SSFIV, the motions were super easy to do. I could pull them off as easily as I can on the 360.

I tried the 3DS out at the Nintendo World Store. When I tried it in Best Buy, I couldn't see the 3D. But turns out I didn't hold it close enough. I tried the Wii Sports Resort and the 3D is really strong so I had it at a lower setting. SSFIV though isn't as strong so I could turn up the 3D higher.

So if you have glasses as I do, you probably can still play but probably need it on lower settings and it will vary game-to-game.

^ I have glasses as well, and I found the 3D effect is much easier on the eyes if you take them off.

I forgot to try that. My vision is pretty bad so I'd have to have it really close to my face.

I was going to get a 3DS even if I couldn't play it with it's 3D.

Update your 3DSs tonight for the eShop and Internet Browser. Free Pokedex 3D and Ecitebike.

I suppose it's a matter of preference. I wear glasses and the 3D effect works just fine for me when they're on. Maybe my natural vision is just that much fubar. Ha.

Also, when is this update happening for us in the states? I've been hearing sometime tonight or tomorrow morning.

Did anyone update their 3DS system yet. Trying update mine right now.

Yes. And since then I've added A LOT of Pokemon onto my free ap, Pokedex 3D.

Wish I wasn't broke. Shantae and Super Mario Land are must downloads for me, and I couldn't get them.

Excitebike Classic 3D? This is Excitebike? Never played it. Its terrible...

:csad: I DL'd it, and I love it. I grew up on classic NES games, and I think it's fun. Plus, the 3D effects look good. I just hope we get some Mega Man, and classic Mario Bros. I wonder if we'll get any SNES games in 3D treatment?

Okay this is frustrating. Every time I try to update the system, I get a error message saying it could not update..sytem restart.
