Ill wait for a price drop in the summer or fall. The price tag right now is in the console realm, for the price of a vita you could just buy a PS3.

I got mine I got a free 4gb memory card at Target so I did there buy 2 get one 1 free I got Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom, Uncharted Goldeny Abyss and Ninja Gaiden so far im just messing around with the Vita checking stuff out.

I am totally in love with this thing. Had the perfect excuse to try it out today as I went up to London to see some friends. MotorStorm RC made the journey fly and the other passengers were not too pleased with the sudden cries of joy and screams of profanity-filled anger.

lol Vita ownsg Ninja Gaiden is amazing so is UMvC I havent played Uncharted yet but I really cant wait to see what games will be made for this theres so much potential.

The craziest thing happened to me when i got my Vita. So as i was getting my Vita at Gamestop I told the cashier lady that i am here to pick up my Vita so the kind lady charged me whatever i had due since i reserved one for a Wifi model only but her Manager saw her do something wrong and told her to re-do my sale and i don't know what happened but the lady got scared of her manager and somehow gave me the 3g/wifi model at first i thought they'd notice that they were giving me the wrong one but they didn't they just gave me the 3g and i just walked out with a 3g model. I was So Freaking happy!!! I just couldn't believe they could be so careless.So i got home opened the box to check to see if I had the 3g one. Which i did And i got a the 8gb memory stick and Little Deviants game which made me even more happier thank you Gamestop for screwing me over...in a good way. Now i got to get back to playin Uncharted and Marvel vs Capcom 3 which are a total BLAST!!!

No the guy said if you go to AT&T and activate the 3g that's when you could download it he also said the first month is free. So i am thinking i activate it and cancel the subscription after the first month.

Typical Gamestop. Here's how it works, first you have to pay for the first month ($15). When that 30 days is up, you get a code to download Super Stardust and it's DLC for free. Not Little Deviants. You also get an extra month of 3G service for free as well.

Here's a step by step:

Step 1: sign up and pay for your first month with AT&T (can be any of their Vita plans)

Step 2: go back into the Connect to AT&T application

Step 3: Log in to your account

Step 4: Click on My Devices and Plans

Step 5: Click on your device

Step 6: Scroll down and click on Add a Plan

Step 7: You'll see a button that says you have a coupon, click on it

Step 8: click on the PSVITA coupon and follow the prompts, this will give you one free 250mb session when your first paid session ends

The Stardust Code will be e-mailed to you.

Loving the Vita so far. It feels like I haven't even tapped into it's potential yet either, so I've got a long jounrey ahead of me, which is great.

Uncharted feels like Uncharted as well, so I'm happy with that.

Yep. You have to activate first, wait until the 30 days are over, then get your game code plus extra month. Kind of silly.

Can you guys recommend some great PSP RPG's for me? I have $40 in PSN cards and since the Vita doesn't have any good ones coming out soon, I though I should catch up on some PSP ones I missed out on. Thanks in advance.

Crisis Core FF VII for sure. Kingdom Hearts BBS is also good

is Crisis Core VII digital yet? ( when last I looked I don't believe it was available as a digital download )

If I get a Vita, I'd also love to play the Dissidia games and 3rd Birthday.

Well to my surprise there are some games that are compatible and some that aren't i thought all the PSP games were compatible but only my God of War Ghost of Sparta was able to transfer over to my Vita my Modnation and Resistance and Socom 3 weren't able to copy over...

Does does anyone know by hitting the power button and having the Vita in standbymode drain the battery quicker?

I was able to get street fighter alpha 3 max on the vita, and I heard you can get the darkstalkers psp game to work on there as well

My Vita came in today and wow! Played a little Uncharted and the visuals were stunning. Lumines is also an amazing game, just like the past games in the series. Going to try Hot Shots next after I spend some time messing around with the system.

Edit: Used Near for the first and found that I have 11 people around me using their Vita. Pretty cool. Also, make sure to back up your saved data every now and then. Hook it up to your PS3 via USB and back up the data to your PS3.

I would compare Uncharted: Golden Abyss to Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. There roughly the same, which is not a bad thing at all.

I'm sure it's a stupid question, but how does one transfer a digital copy (the kind you get with blu-rays sometimes) onto the Vita? If anyone could link me to an instruction guide I would be appreciative.

Vita is to a PS3 as the PSP was to a PS2. Close enough but not quite. Visually, its slightly less than a PS3. The difference is noticeable but it still looks amazing

Most DC werent even compatible with the PSP. I hadnt heard of that being different with the Vita. I think all Sony BRs with DC after fall 2009 were PSP compatible and with the other studios only a select few. I could be wrong as its been a while since I even worried about that
