Good Teaser, sets the stage well and the effects/action look great:up:

first off, people must be ignoring this movie. hunter and the people at imdb seem to love the trailer yet nobody posts in the thread

anywahs hunter,i know your goodat this kinda stuff so if had time, could you please rip this to a downloaded window meida type? cause i have a ghetto computer and only have windows 98 n quicktime 7 requires windows 2000.

Nice, very nice. I'm sure some people will be calling it Titanic with more action, but I think it'll get the job done.

Meh, th eoriginal is a cheesy B-movie disaster that is so bad it is good. It has a B-movie charm and with every actor, especially Gene Hackman 20 fold, hamming it up EVERY literal chance it gets, it is unbeatable. I mean we had freaking Leslie Nielson trying to do drama here.

This is going to be an inferior big budget remake that will look bad but because it has big budget SFX disaster shots, it will make a lot of money (think The Day After Tomorrow here). I mean it has a strong cast: Richard Dryffus, Josh Lucas, and Emmy Rossum (Kurt Russell...not so much), but meh.

And for the record I think Wolfgang Petersen can be a good director: Das Boot is a classic and both Air Force One and The Perfect Storm were very good. Troy was an entertaining and enjoyable disappointment. Besides ignoring Homer and the Greek myth in general it would have been much better if someone who had the right intensity played Achilles (think Russel Crowe).

Oh well.

I thought the trailer looked great, the effects looked pretty impressive IMO! Good cast as well!

And to think his Batman vs. Superman fell through. Take that however you want.

damn.... next may is shaping up to be awesome

This is going to be a great film. Petersen is great. The cast is great.

Yeah, what could have been with BvS..............

After the recent underwhelming TV movie remake, I can't say I'm really interested in this.

here ya go

looks good, I loved the original and I've always been into ship disasters (I'm a former Titanic guru). I'm glad they changed the characters around this time so no one has to try and match Hackman's performance

damn it still aint working, but people seem to like it. anybody got screen capsfrom the big stuff?

just saw it- WOW.

That shot of the wave was INCREDIBLE FAKE but then those huge ass money shots of the wave hitting the cruise are awesome....this looks sick. waaaay cooler then MI3, thats for damn sure.

I don't think anything in this trailer was anywhere near as cool as the last shot in the Mi-3 trailer or that trailer as a whole

urkh...looks like a rental.
Who could bear to look at Fergie's face on a giant screen?

I liked it.

A bit too much like the modern Titanic in my opinion...

to each his own...mi3s final money shot was very phat indeed and the music was great as always, but im a sucker for a good disaster/popcorn flick. so with this trailer being all about the action/fx/moments of peril, while half of mi3s trailer seems like ahorrow movie with a very creppy philip seymour hoffman taunting cruise.....c'mon.
