Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria, is a fantastic song, without the vocals it could easily pass off as a trailer score, but the vocals really give it that extra push. I recommend everyone giving it a listen asap

i agree! i was so scared we'd get another ****ty emo/punk band attatched to the film. i'm just glad i won't have to deal with fall out boy or my chemical romance ! i hope that this is possibly the only song in the film, aside from the score. or that whoever picked this song continues to choose good music for the film. spidey deserves it!

That's good that we've got Wolfmother and The Flaming Lips. The only thing that I think could possibly not like about this movie now is the score. I liked what Christopher young did with the train sequence in Spidey 2 a whole lot and I liked most of the music that was with the Harry/Peter fight in the 7 min footage, but I haven't watched a movie with the whole score made by him him before. I have hope that I'll enjoy it.

67 Special: New Single And Tour

Melbourne garage-blues outfit 67 Special have announced a new single and a national tour. The track, ‘Killers Bees’, is the first taste of their second album, The Devil May Care, which is scheduled for release in July. The record is the result of five week’s worth of sessions in America with producer Jacquire King (Modest Mouse, Tom Waits), with the quintet also cutting a version of David Bowie’s ‘Oh! You Pretty Things’ for the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack. Support on their month’s worth of shows comes from rural rock trio The Exploders.

now I've never heard 67 Special before, but that David Bowie song is pretty tight...

I can see them playing it while black symbiote Peter is strutting around in his newfound cockiness (a la "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" in SM2).

Have you never seen Hellraiser 1 or 2, Christopher Young did the film score for those 2 movies.

i'm one of the biggest danny elfman fans you'll meet, but i have a lot of faith that christopher young will do an awesome job. especially after having seen a good amount of his films. he's really known for his horror film music. which makes him perfect for a film with venom! i really enjoyed the gift as well as the hell raiser 2 score, which was pretty epic sounding. you can hear it here: http://www.myspace.com/101828906

I can't stand it when people want rock songs in the movie during fighting scenes!!!

Or any scene for that matter...

It'd be ok for the credits, but the movie itself!? NO WAY!!!

If they put rock music playing during a scene in the movie that would RUIN it.

In my opinion they should stick with orchestrated music and that's it.
