Hey if a mod would kindly sticky this up in place of the 2014 edition I'd Appreciate it. I figured since these threads last a year and we are almost at 40 pages that we might as well start one from scratch this year. So New year new thread and maybe even some new rules. If you have any questions please PM me and I will answer them when I get the chance.
Here are the Rules mostly everything is the same.
1. Anybody can take part whether u joined in previous seasons or not and if you join this year do try to keep on with if if you can.
2. The Final card will be posted at the end of SD going into the PPV. Picks must be no later than 7:00 EST on the day of the PPV.
3. I decided to do away with the Randomly added matches for something new this year cause there hardly is any random matches added. So during each PPV I will set up a set of bonus questions at most 3 and the bonus question will be worth a total of 2 points each if u get them right. Mostly I will explain that when I put the 1st Card up for the Royal Rumble
4. You do not need to predict how the matches are won for example pinfall submission dq or count out but you can if you wish
5. Play fair no editing or posting predictions during the PPV.
Here is the Point System
Point System
1 point for every correction prediction
2 points if its for a title
2 points if it is the main event pretty much the last match on the card.
3 points if the match contains 5 or more people
5 points if you correctly pick every match correctly
Half Points Rule:
Half points can be awarded to all those who participated in the PPV Prediction if one of, or both conditions occur.
1. If no one predicts that the match will end in a draw and it does, half the point value of the match will awarded to all who participated in the PPV predictions. This will not, however, count toward a "perfect card". If anyone predicts the draw, this is null and void.
2. If a match is changed by either substituting or adding a participant after the cut-off time for submitting predictions, half the point value of the match will be awarded to all who participated in the PPV predictions. This will not, however, count toward a "perfect card". If anyone predicts the substitution, this is null and void.
Bonus Questions
Each Bonus Question is worth a total of 2 points
Tie Breaker policy is pretty much the same as before
Tie Break Policy
As the year goes on, ties will occur. The way these will be broken is as follows. With each PPV, the top five are awarded a separate set of points. Five for 1st, 1 for 5th, and so on.
We will get everything started this Sunday for the ROyal RUmble card will be up Thursday night.
