Spider-Man 3 Official Thread for the Spider-Man 3 Footage on Heroes and NBC.com!

^^Brilliant.

The way Harry smacked his head off that pole as he fell was hilarious!

I didn't want to start a new thread for this because I wasn't absolutely sure if this has been mentioned, but what is with this Yahoo! exclusive stuff?

"Action packed scenes from the third installment are coming in true QuickTime HD Tuesday night."

They have a counter which is counting down to 7PM PST Tuesday night. I'm guessing this is the same material that we already got...I'm confused. Is this a miscommunication on Yahoo's part? Is this the same footage?

I guess you'll find out soon enough . If anything I'm betting it the same footage .

I did the honors lol

LOL! Someone had to, really...

uh oh, i must now think about whether or not i should view this, how long is it?

i wonder how many innocent citizens have been hit by the falling rocks in Pete and harrys fight. I was expecting Pete to prevent the big piece of wall from hitting on the streets. well, whatever:whatever:

Right, just watched it...

disappointed by some aspects when it comes to continuity...

there's no way pete should have been jacked from his moped, we see from the second film that he can't get sneaked up from behind since his spider sense detects it...I wished they would have made some reference to norman's formula in the comics to get harry to sneak up on parker undetected. Parker didn't even really feel naked by the fact that someone was able to sneak up on him, i think they have dropped the ball with another subtle but great opportunity to reference the basse material.

aerial fight was good but in all it, just showed harry to be somewhat of a weakling...he really did get Pwned by a far more experienced pete. I think there should have been far more dialogue from harry's point of view. He didn't even get parker in a KO'ing position.

in reference to his father and also ock, harry's put in by far the worse effort when it comes to taking the spider out. If anything, if spidey had his head on clearly, he could have disolved the situation far quicker...

it just makes me wonder why on earth peter would want someone who was that bad at combat to go up against sandman or venom when from some of those additional clips, sandman could pretty much destroy them on his lonesome...

considering how pete took what i thought was an early bashing and came out pretty much with his suit still in good shape + wedding ring shows harry's efforts considering he had prep time on his side was pretty much a shambles...

he's wanted revenge for over a whole film and that's the best he can do....pathetic. Norman would be rolling in his empty grave...

Nice clip but SM trailers are always so uninspiring. The main characters are always such a bore to watch on screen especially PP/SM. When Aunt May becomes the biggest presence on screen something is not right.

After watching this clip again, I just noticed that before harry throws the razor bats he jumps off his glider and over a load of pipes with his green sabre as the glider is still pursuing pete and then lands on it again, that was pretty damn cool.

why didn't the idiot just duck his head or fly over or under it....

silly ass

They should have made it some sort of web based baseball bat or something.

I'm also surprised parker let him fall to his groom, it's not like we havent' seen him being able to multi task with webbing from one hand and catching from another or doing a web and quick catch in close sucession.

truth of the matter is, parker wanted to hurt harry bad for that mj incident about six billion years ago at the world's fair and you alllllll know it...

:ninja:

That and the public slap Pete got at MJ's engagement to John. I guess it was realy Harry who had it coming.

which is why him going down to a tightrope when he sees it quite clearly is beyond me...he has ample time to react to it by decides to force his way through it using his neck.

we know the glider would react to his jump because we see it flying automatic at one point in the trailer, his decision to try and pull pete's arms out of his socket by trying to pull on the webline with his neck is by far the stupidest one made by man...

actually second, his father's suicide glider routine was pretty poor as well...

Like I've said before when we got all these trailer descriptions, its all down to poor and shoddy writing realy.

absolutely brilliant
that could be the best fight i´ve seen in a comic book film ever

i´m officially hyped

Dunno if this has been posted but...

Also this scene, i don't know if anybodys said, looks like the part in the cartoon where venom hold peter up by his webs and takes his mask off in front of JJ (you can see black webs on his arms, but not very well in this frame)

one more point for the road, harry's claws have been shown eariler in the clip to be able to cut spidey's strands, why doesn't he simply put his arm up and let them cut the webbing...

his reactions were quick enough to cut flying debris with a much bigger sword coming at him at the same speed plus all he had to do is put his arm up..

meh, don't like the way it ended, i would have preferred to see spidey used a larger variety of webbing than straight lines and impact shots, the first thing that would come to mind would be a net shaped web similar to the one he used against his father.

To be honest...that footage wiped away my doubts about Harry's suit. To be honest, I think it pretty much suits him.

Those are good points and I too would have prefered if Harry was caught in a huge web-net, struggling to break free but only making matters worse for himself. Although the action in this scene were overall a joy to watch at least imo, its riddled with inconsistencies and glaring errors.

Oh...my...god! I was speechless for a while after watching that...its AWESOME!

All doubts about Harry's green goblin are gone!

To be honest though, although he dodged the debris and web before...he didn't have goblin bats to worry about the time before. :o:up:
