Spider-Man 3 Official Thread for the Spider-Man 3 Footage on Heroes and NBC.com!

Honestly, the Peter/May conversation. It was like something straight out of the comic books. Rosemary Harris is a terrific actress, and that scene was just so warm and touching. Like the scene from SM-2, where she gives him $20 on his birthday, and then breaks down crying over Ben.

Plus, it's good to see that May has landed on her feet, after losing her house in SM-2. Her little apartment looks really nice and cozy.

I also really dug the Peter/MJ scene, too. Great to see them as a couple after all they've been thru to be together.

I found myself watching those two scenes alot more than the Harry fight. Not that I didn't like the fight sequence, though it had it's flaws. I just found the emotional character stuff more engaging.

It's one of the reasons I enjoy SM-2 more than the first. It's filled with great emotional character development like that.

I agree with pretty much everything in this post. I've watched those to clips a bunch of times. It just seemed comforting.

Wow. Naite, no harm was intended. You just seem, I don't know, a little OVER-EXCITED to be 24. I might what I said to be taken lightly. This is, may I remind you, a board about Spider-Man movies, not that big a deal.

Again, I meant it in jest...and not to apparently cause tears.

What is Aunt May gonna do once she finds out he lost the ring!:wow:

I loved the entire clip, but the Aunt May/Peter scene stuck out so much and I loved every second of it. I really hope that May hasn't been pushed to the side in this film, and hopefully, this clip proves that theory wrong.

hey can someone give me a link to download the 7 minute clip 480 size..and not 700....700 does not fit my screen

It's probably already been discussed so I'll just say: Lack of Spider-Sense. Stupid.

I didn't care for the first scene with Peter and MJ on the web. Really cheesey.
But I liked when May gives Peter the ring. That was really well done.
Amazing fight scene, even if the green screen work was pretty poor. I'm sure it will be longer in theaters though.

There's no way Harry is dead right there. They would never give that away. And come on, he's his best friend and a new villain. They aren't gonna kill him off so easily. (Besides, the way dies in the comics is so much more powerful)

So, apparently Sandman becomes that mud-monster thing, as he does in the comic. Only in the comic, it happens because he mixes with Hydro-Man.
Updated Venom shot...WHOA! That is so creepy!

I to loved the peter and Aunt May scene. It really shows how much Aunt May misses uncle ben and it shows how much Aunt May cares for peter which is something these films should have in them. I just feel happy when Aunt May talks about her and uncle ben, it brings back memories from spidey1 and the comics. and this is why I find Aunt May so important, she's an important character and nobody should say she isn't.

No....Harry's not dead in that scene.

Yeah duh. We've all seen the hopital scenes. I bet Peter once again takes off his enemy's costume to preserve their identity.

I too was wondering about the spider sense, so I went back and watched it a few times. When Peter is on his scooter, he has a smile on his face thinking of soemthing. Right before Harry hits him, the emotion on his face does change like he was expecting something to happen. Its worth going back and taking a look at and to see if anyone else notices the same thing.

Now that was a ****ing mind-blowing clip... That must have been the most jaw-dropping aerial battle ever... Even more than the bank robbery scene in Spidey 2...

I love the scene between May and Peter... It´s bittersweet, even if she doesn´t mean it, a bit of resentment over Ben´s death is still there.

I knew some would say the Peter/MJ scene is too corny or cheesy or whatever... Yeah it is a bit syrupy, but THAT´S THE POINT, these two are living a dream, we all know it can´t last... and the final camera pan, like the web is their sheet, is dang beautiful.
