S***!

:lmao:

For people who would argue that Randy took a dive, look at his ear in the post fight interview.

It looked like James Thompson's in that fight when Kimbo when it blew up. That was a nasty blow to the side of Randy's head, and he's got the wound to prove it. And it messed up his ear good. Randy's usually avoided the ear cauliflowering so he better get it drained. Bas Rutten said the key to preventing ear cauliflowering is getting them constantly drained with cyringes.

There is no way that RC would have agreed to let Lesnar take 30 shots and his head and face. Had the fight been fixed, it would have ended quickly, not with Randy taking a beating that could have injured him seriously.

Man, I wonder what's next him Randy. He has two fights left, I think, on his contract. I wanted him to retire the champion.

Couture v Liddell I say, both with nothing to lose, should be a good tear-up.

I'd still pick Fedor over Brock, but if Lesnar catches you, you go down.

Lesnar, Couture and five others medically suspended:

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has issued medical suspensions to a total of seven fighters who competed at this past weekend's UFC 91 event.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) recently requested and received the list of suspensions from NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer.

Main-event fighters Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture, and five other fighters, will all serve mandatory medical suspensions following the Nov. 15 event, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Lesnar, who defeated Couture with a second-round TKO for the UFC heavyweight championship, is suspended until Dec. 16 with no contact during training until Dec. 7 for precautionary reasons. Couture, meanwhile, has been suspended until Jan. 15 with no contact until Dec. 31, also due to precautionary reasons.

Josh Hendricks, a UFC newcomer who suffered a 61-second TKO to Gabriel Gonzaga, has been suspended until Dec. 16 with no contact until Dec. 7 for precautionary reasons.

Tamdan McCrory, who dropped a first-round submission loss to Dustin Hazelett in a main-card bout, needs his right foot and ankle X-rayed to rule out factures. If the X-rays come back positive, McCrory is suspended until May 15 unless cleared early by a doctor.

Aaron Riley, who defeated Jorge Gurgel via unanimous decision in the UFC 91 Fight of the Night, has been suspended until Dec. 16 with no contact until Dec. 7 for precautionary reasons. Gurgel, meanwhile, must have an MRI on his left shoulder and an X-ray on his right ankle to rule out fractures. If fractures are detected, Gurgel is suspended until May 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor.

Finally, Rafael dos Anjos, who loss to Jeremy Stephens via a stunning third-round TKO, has been suspended until Jan. 15 with no contact until Dec. 31 for precautionary reasons.

Arev they using the word 'suspended' looseley here or what??

They are medical suspensions. Meaning they aren't medically cleared for fighting or training contact for those set times according to the doctors. No they aren't suspended like say Chris Leben after testing positive for steroids.

Medically suspending fighters is nothing new. Been doing that in boxing for years, infact in Nevada and I'm pretty sure everyother place, if you get KO'd you get suspended for about 6 months.

so what is the general feeling now about Lesnar....or are people just declaring the UFC rigged now?

The fight itself wasn't rigged, but Lesnar fighting for the championship under a year and with under five fights, now that's Dana's doing.

He did fight Randy at the right time. What sucks is there're more deserving contenders out there that have been in the sport for years and not given a shot at the title yet, meanwhile Dana's new cashcow gets a crack at the champ in less than a year that he's been in the company.

Prime Randy easily beats Lesnar by whatever he wants.

Fedor annihilates Lesnar faster than he did Sylvia.

What's funny is Dana puts down boxing every chance he gets yet is becoming as crooked and sleazy as a lot of promoters.

He wants to make money and Lesnar is the big attraction right now.....it's not about who deserves what...it's about who can draw the biggest audience for a main event...it's not "crooked" it's just business....

Yeah, at the end of the day, it's all about the money. That's what I hate.

Dana has always went by this.
He has said in many interviews that there's no rankings in the UFC.
He (mostly) books fights that people want to see (will draw), not so much who deserves to fight who.

so is the UFC going to address the Heavyweight/Interim Heavyweight situation??

I think the winner of Nog/Mir gets Brock. Hopefully Fedor is signed by the time all that is done. I say loser of Mir/Nog gets Couture.

UFC 92 is gonna be awesome by the way.

It's definitely winner of Mir/Nog against Brock for the undisputed.
In my opinion, Nog is going to end up/stay champ.
I think Couture vs loser of Mir/Nog is a good idea and will probably happen.
Then Couture/Fedor (if they actually sign him) for Couture's last (contracted) ufc fight.
If he indeed retired after this contract is up it would be a great way to end his career.

Do MMA fans refer to Noguiera as 'Nog' because they can't properly spell or pronounce his full name??
