Official "We Need 'The Avengers' Forum" Thread

The Hype was advertising Zack and Miri a few months back... I mean I know you need frequent visitors but c'mon... let that **** stay in ComingSoon or something,

But back to Avengers, I just don't like clumping the Hulk movies in there... Ang Lee's film was only like six years ago. People still talk about it. I wouldn't clump it in the Avengers forum. I get that Hulk will be in the film. I think you either keep the Hulk forums with the possibility of more films after the Avengers movie... or you do away with Hulk forums completely before making the "Avengers" forum. I mean you can't have four different films of that magnitude in one forum.

Put the Hulk sub forum in the Avengers and the Ang Lee film can have a thread. We have the entire past and future of the entire FF franchise in one thread. I'm sure we can stand to have Ang Lee's film in just one thread.

That could work. Even though Ang's Hulk currently has a section, almost all of the discussion about it takes place in the "I still love Ang Lee's Hulk" thread in the TIH section. I still have no idea why it's there

Why not? If there were four X-Men spin-offs in production at the same time (I know it wouldn't happen, it's a hypothetical), would they each get a full separate forum? No, they'd stay in the X-Men forum.

And it would be silly to do away with the Hulk section when it is a part of the current series of Avengers films and fits right in as a sub-forum.

They still have threads about the old Batman films... there are still sub-forums of every Marvel movie in the modern era... I know Ang Lee is not a fan favorite but I think we could show that film a little more respect. Again... FF folded completely... but its still possible that Hulk could remain an active franchise pending the success of utilizing him in the crossover film. I'd keep Hulk in its own forum... if not you merge those threads into the Marvel films forum.

Until these spinoffs are confirmed we can not assume that... plus there are just too many movies for one forum like that.

You can toss those same two threads and director speculation for the Avengers. O.k., maybe you can add a couple of manips threads. Other than merely wanting a new forum, that will likely not have that much traffic until probably Comic-Con, what's the difference?

But the main point of this isn't that Cap or Avengers necessarily need forums at the moment, it's that Thor does and it is perhaps a better idea to combine all four characters (IM/Hulk/CA/Thor) under the Avengers banner than to give each their own individual forum in addition to there being an Avengers forum down the line.

Perhaps, but it's not like the Avengers topics have even taken up all of one page of this forum.

I agree that they should have a Thor forum in the pipeline. Along with a Green Lantern forum. But, there's been no formal announcement and I don't see the harm in waiting until there is a formal announcement. It's not like you can't create a topic in this forum in the meantime.

I sent it in a PM to "Showtime" and he seemed to really like the idea. So, we'll see. I'm glad many of you seem to agree with me.

Oh and The Hulk is tied to The Avengers, he has been since the inception and he will be in the film series.

I think an Avengers forum would be great. I don't post much here, but I do read a lot and it's getting tiresome going through all the threads to find relevant info.

Guys you need to chill. Once Avengers starts gearing up, I am sure a forum will open up.
