Oh If Only America Were More Enlightened.... Like Europe!

Jesus, have you ever not payed for sex?

as if that changes what a person is capable of. Your the same person the creator made you whether you pay or not.

When I need someones approval to assess my self-worth I'll let you know.

Don't hold your breath though. :o

Marijuana doesn't make one an addict. The people working as prostitues do it cause the want to, no one is forced to go into the field in Holland and their government make a **** load of money out of it, additionally to all the nice things like Technology, Science and Manufacturing. Sounds like a win/ win situation. Prostitution is legal here in my country too and guess what, we don't have much of a problem with it. We even built little **** cabins for the Soccer WM so all the soccer fans can get some and we like it that way. If you want to remain in your puritan mindset 'till your dick is all shriveled and got a dust cover and the vaginas of your women got spider-webs that's your business. Meanwhile, we in Europe enjoy our sex lives, thank you.

Europe is in moral decay and you know it. No good thing can come out of this. And it matters not if they are forced into it, they are doing it. And legal doesn't always mean "good".

And beacuse they make a lot of money from it, makes it right?? Bad things usually make tons of money. That's nothing new. But the flip side is that the chickens always.....ALWAYS come home to roost.

What utter nonsense, Europe is doing quite fine! I love what you call "moral decay", or as we call it, "not being stuck up and adhering to a fake double standard concerning sexuality", wouldn't trade it for anything in the world+. Every ****ing nation on that planet has prostitution, even goddamn Iran. The difference between Europe and other places is, that we don't call it a sin upfront and the go on doing it anyways. Moral decay my ass! It's been around since the begining of humankind, not even the most religious societies managed to get rid of it, so why still do the stupid condemnation schtick? It achieved and achieves nothing! We don't need the idiotic lip service of ages past!

HA!! :woot:
Fewer window prostitutes in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - A non-profit corporation has purchased a large number of the buildings where prostitutes pose in windows in Amsterdam's Red Light district, the city said Thursday, in a deal that may lead to a third of the windows being shuttered.

The move is intended to break a logjam in an multi-year effort by the city to cut back on the windows, which it says are a magnet for crime and money laundering.
Mayor Job Cohen said the move was not intended to get rid of prostitution entirely, since it is part of the area's history and a major tourist draw for the city. Huh??

"What we do want is to get rid of the underlying criminality," Cohen told local television station AT5.
In Thursday's deal, public housing corporation NV Stadsgoed purchased 18 buildings with 51 windows for $35 million. That is around a third of the windows in the Red Light District, though there are other prostitution zones in the city.
NV Stadsgoed will redevelop some or all of the buildings, and because they are not likely to be worth as much as housing or regular commercial real estate, the city has agreed to reimburse the corporation by up to $21 million.
"We don't know yet what's going to come in their place," Cohen said. "We're very busy making a development plan, and we hope to have that ready by the end of the year."
Amsterdam has been conducting a crackdown on criminality in the city center for nearly five years, using a 2002 law that forces business operators to disclose detailed accounting in order to have their licenses renewed.
The seller in Thursday's deal, "Fat" Charlie Geerts, was ordered by the city last year to close the windows because the city said he failed to meet standards.
But he filed a legal protest and Amsterdam's District Court granted an injunction against closures while he fought the decision.
With its scantily clad prostitutes posing in brothel windows and coffee shops oozing the pungent aroma of cannabis smoke, the Red Light district's seediness has always been part of its attraction.
Prostitution is legal in the Netherlands, and coffee shops are licensed to sell small amounts of marijuana. But the district is a magnet for petty criminals and, authorities believe, human traffickers, drug lords and mobsters — who take advantage of the situation to launder money.
Prostitutes' rights organizations have generally been indifferent to the crackdown, arguing that pimps are the main source of problems, not landlords.

How Stupid are these people? These are the smart Europeans that a lot of you brag on. They want to get rid of the crime but not the hookers??? :woot: And I want the mice gone but I still want the cheese on my floor!

Seedy activity will attract seedy people. Wanna clean up crime Holland?? Get rid of prostitutes! News Flash!!!!!! Mobsters reeeally like hookers!!! They like drugs too. But Holland doesn't want to give up those things.

Well guess what? The problem will never go away. They want their cake and eat it too.

Brilliant! Why don't we make alcohol illegal to get rid of drunk driving in America! While you're busy criticizing Holland's crime rate dozens of ppl have been the victim of some violent crime in the US. Don't forget about our successful war on drugs. LOL!

What part of she wasn't interested in a relationship but he still wanted to titty bang her do you not understand.

Why do you care if he titty bangs her or not? Because he gave her cash instead of a nice gift?

ok whatever.

In this flaccid attempt to be some sort of pseudo board rebel you miss the point, i don't care, legalizing prostitution is a good idea as i already said and who said anything about relationships ? You can just pull a woman on the basis that the 2 of you click for some consensual adult relations, it's not either relationships or ****es as you seem to think and I'm not talking about this from some taboo or moral high ground you so wish i was, I'm saying, buying ass is for losers.

<~~playing devil's advocate.

I can see where someone can see the appeal of prostitution. Some guys just don't want the emotional baggage that a one night stand comes with. If a man (or woman for that matter) just wants a no strings attached way to satisfy their sexual urges then legalized prostitution could appeal to that person. They wouldn't have to worry about waking up to a person that they have to figure out how to get rid of or run away from, phone calls asking them to call back, possible stalking...it could get ugly, overcomplicated and just plain bothersome. Whereas going to see a prostitute is just another service that people pay for.

Plus if you can't buy ass, how would one eat bacon?

Your perception of morals maybe. But then again no one asked you. Quit being a cultural imperialist.

The thing i'm getting at is there isn't the satisfaction in getting it when it's not freely given, it's business and thus loses the erotic side of sex IMO, If someone was paranoid about the things you mentioned why not pull a girl and take her to a hotel for the night if you didn't want the awkwardness of leaving/asking her to leave.

ease of access...some people are more easily satisfied (emotionally and/or physically) than others.

Oh I agree with you one hundred percent. But I still think prostitution should be make legal. It's not the role of the government to be the moral police.

It's not the role of the government to sanction immoral acts either. :whatever:

I just can't see how a man can be satisfied screwing a girl who is only doing it for money and may well be thinking he's a sad ass john while he's humping her.

Well, I'm sure you don't do a lot of things that are there just because they are legal.

People don't drink...but that doesn't mean other people don't enjoy it.

Same for smoking.

Same for gambling.

Same for pornography

Same for prostitution (in Nevada)

My point is is that there are people who do find these things appealing on different levels. I don't necessarily think that makes them losers.

Yup, like i said, legalize it and maybe it will help some ppl out, especially some of the girls involved, i have nothing morally against it, I'm just saying for me, get a girl the old school way...With a club over the head:ninja::woot::cwink:

It is legal over there!! IT'S NOT WORKING!
lol.gif
What's your next idea?

Oh it works just fine for all parties involved. Try some viagra, maybe that's why it's not working for you.

Good luck :yay:

My guess on this is; since you are well adjusted emotionally (I assume :ninja:) it holds no appeal. For those not adjusted to emotions and what not; they might see some appeal in buying sex, since it holds no value other than physical release.

How dare you throw Porn in there with those other disgusting pastimes:cmad::oldrazz:

Seriously, Those things are games or recreation but sex man, i dunno, it's part of the getting it that makes it, just buying it loses the ingredient, a beer doesn't taste better when it's free y'know, but sex without passion or lust is like a hand job with a wet fish on your mit IMO:csad:

[/b]What a great way to get the best out of your citizens. Make them drug addicts and hookers. And keep them that way so that we can make money. Don't even consider other more legit and decent ways to attract commerce. Technology? Science? Manufacturing??? Naaaah.....we'll keep the human toilet thingie.
And I'm dense????
lol.gif

LOL, you tell him Celldog.
ever since prostitution is illegal in the states nobody pays for sex anymore! take that Europe!!!
and since Ronald Reagan won the war on drugs in the 80's no drugs have been used by anyone ever!!!!!

stick that in your snooty pipes and then smoke it!
instead of your legal pot!!! which you usually stick in your pipes and then....uh..smoke!!!

yeah!!!!

Exactly, Celldog's argument is akin to "Teh Mafia is using Pizza restaurants as places for money laundry and organized crime, let's Ban Pizza!" :woot:

I swear to GOD if they ban pizza, I will kill someone.

Wow, when even lust has lost it's value then times are hard:csad:

I've been following your points regarding buying ass, and have to agree with you for the most part. Prostitution is ok, if it's in the context of adultery. That way it's not cheating because no emotional investment was made to get them in the sack.
