I had a rose tarantula as a pet before. Didn't do much of course, but it's neat to check them out when they are moving/climbing. It layed on it's back for a whole day. I thought it was dead. Then the next day, I saw two of them in the aqaurium. The freakin' thing shedded it's exoskeleton and came out from it's own back. Wickedest thing I ever saw.

and that is why i'm horrified by Cicadas... There like friggin pod people, or those little aliens that are in men in black that walk around in a robo human body....

they hibernate for like 16 years developing.. then come out from the ground like zombies in droves... then the hatch out of themselves with wings and fly around making sonic noises that drive you crazy and fly around in giant swarms.

not Cicadas... there whole purpose is just to mate... nothing else. the video even says so. sure for a few weeks every 17 years they give some animals a lil extra food.. but .. uh.. not like that's needed

I like spiders. I just don't want them on crawling on me. I used to be terrified of them, but I like the fact that they kill other, more annoying pests around the house and yard. I can live with knowing that there are a few spiders around, as long as they're not on the sofa, or in my clothes. Some of those things in the pictures posted above would probably freak me out, though.
