Well, I don't. Just because I'd like another actress to play MJ doesn't mean I hate KD. ...It could be her that hates doing again another SM movie. I can't entirely blame her if she's badmouthing SM3 or the franchise. Most actressess avoid being typecast and want to do different roles.

I'm sick of Dunsts "Oh, another one?" attitude towards Spidey 3. Get rid of the complaining ***** (I mean come on, its so obvious she dosn't want to do another one and I say good because she wasn't that great in Spidey 3 anyway) and replace her with a much hotter Mary Jane. Or just kill her off in the first 5 mins of Spidey 4 and keep Gwen as the love interest!

I don't think Kirsten ever said she was sick of playing MJ. However if she was could you blame her? What does she really do in these films? She's there to scream and be kidnapped. She's barely even a character and even her relationship with Peter is far fetched. We know why Peter is in love with her. He's a dork loser. But what's her reason? By the end of SM1 they had barely even shared any significant screen time. In reality they were nothing more than aquantainces yet she was in love with him? It makes no sense.

Just because you sign a contract to do three films doesn't you should be happy about your role if it turns out your character happens to be nothing more than a a simple plot device film after film. As a matter of fact the stories, characters and music are all dull, one dimensional, generic crap. Way to go Raimi for playing it completely safe.

Anyway, I don't particularly like Dunst's MJ but I don't really dislike her. Raimi and his writers recreated MJ as a more audience friendly girl next door with baggage and a very sad desperate outlook and for that Dunst plays her fine. But yeah the fun party girl who is just as tortured, but she just doesn't wear it on her sleeve, would've been nice to see.

But as long as Sam and tobey come back I want her back as well, mostly so it is Tobey and Kirsten (who do have chemistry) getting married.

Oh and btw, a lot of the replacement choices suck. Carmen Elektra? A ****e who cannot act? I'm glad fanboys don't get to choose. I never liked MJ as a supermodel anyway. And for the part Sam has written I'll take Dunst over Alba. Sure Alba is a whole lot hotter, but Dunst can actually act.

Plus, when did she badmouth the series during SM3 promotion? All I heard was singing praises. She only did it a few times after the first movie and stopped after she saw the second movie.
