Ok, so this good friend of mine from work broke up with her boyfriend a few months ago. I try to stay away from drama, especially when it comes to females, because they are usually nothing BUT drama (except girls here, they are comic-nerds and therefore exempt).

Anyhow, she dumped her boyfriend because "he parties and drinks every night and I am past that stage in my life, I am ready to go forward, etc". But NOW, all I hear about is the myriad of guys she's blowing and how "oh, he's hot, oh I went down on him, oh he has such a big penis", and how she goes out at least 3 nights a week to the bars, yadda yadda yadda... It's like now we have nothing else to talk about except all the cool-neato, "I think I'm still a teenager" fun that she's having and I'm really getting tired of it. I DON'T need a damn f**-hag, this isn't Will & Grace, and it's really bugging me.

So. How do I save the friendship without constantly being subjected to her hypocrisy and annoying school-girl behavior, OR do I just minimize my contact with her and maybe she'll get the hint? Or should I just be blunt with her and tell her to ****, nobody wants to hear about how many ***** she can fit into her mouth? (BTW, she claims it's all good, because she's not actually having SEX with any of them, therefore she hasn't become a big ****e!)

never talk to her ever again as long as you live

Just let her blow you. She can't talk about it then, now can she?

I work with her, so no choice. Plus I try not to be an a-hole in real life.

Plus the thought of her even coming near my crotch makes me wanna vomit.

Be honest. If she's acting like a ****e, tell her you're not interested in her stories, you're losing respect for her, and you don't like to hang out with her when she acts like that.

Most people need you to be extremely blunt.

I'm thinking this may be the best way to go. Other people have basically already stopped talking to her, but I don't think she's getting the hint.

She actually called me up the other day when I was in class to ask me if this guy she likes is gay. "I'm confused, he acts gay, but he said he wants to make out with me". Ok, I'm in class, actually doing something that is meaningful I really dont have time for this.

Tell her Clinton tried that argument. It didn't fool the country, and it's not fooling you either. :cwink:

She's a hard-core feminist liberal.

I tried to resize it but imageshack is acting up

Can you just remove it and link some other pic?

That may work, one time I called her my f**-hag as a JOKE and she got all kinds of pissed off. She thinks hags are just really fat chicks that hang with gay guys cause they are afraid to get into real relationships with straight guys, and they spend their time talking about cute boys with their gay guy friends.

She's lost some weight recently, but other than that, she fits the mold. :o

She broke up with a guy because he goes out and parties every night and then starts doing the same thing herself? Sounds to me like she just wanted an excuse to go out and get some strange every night of the week. Tell her you really don't want to hear about all this anymore, straight up.

and she's acting exactly how an insecure woman would act after breaking up with her boyfriend. she's trying to show everyone she's worth something. don't be mean man, she's all messed up, if she's a friend, just eb honest without being unnecessarily brutal.

she might get it, she might not, either way, you did your part.

If while you're talking to her and she starts talking about the dick she sucked last night, just walk away, don't say anything just walk away. If she follows you and asks why you walked away, tell her you didn't need to hear another story about her dick sucking adventures.
